Background:

Typical:

Every March, Jess (The female form of Jack) ventures off on her own to lay a clutch of eggs. She always abandons these clutches believing that none of the eggs are fertile/alive. Every now and again though, one or two fertile and live eggs are laid- but are abandoned and left in the wilderness.

Kah, is one of these instances where an egg was fertile and alive while abandoned. Surrounded by thirty or so other eggs, his was kept warm and incubated by the sun. The surrounding eggs held enough heat at night to keep the cold from killing him. On the forth of July, late at night while the fireworks were lighting up the sky, he hatched.

Born set and able to fend for himself, he hunted small mice for two weeks until he learned to take his humanoid form. Conscious and curious, he ventured the area. He moved to live in near the home of an elderly couple, but kept out of sight. By listening to them, he learned speech.

He came to call himself "Kah", based on the sounds the crows made whenever the elderly man came outside to refill the bird feeders. A simple, easy to remember name, which was what he'd needed in his earlier years. Whether or not he has encountered his parents or not, is unknown. The same applies to he and any possible siblings.

Slenderverse/Pastaverse:

As she tended to do every March, Jess fled to a solitary location to lay a clutch of eggs. The location she tended to chose, was none other than the farm of Scarecrow- a being she and her partner did not get along with. After laying her eggs- which she believed were all unfertilized- she fled to another location to rest before returning home.

However, her presence had not gone unnoticed by the many crows that inhabited the area. All of them being female, they took interest in the eggs immediately. Unable to move them, the birds took turns incubating the eggs to see what may or may not hatch from them.

Kah was the only fertile egg in a clutch. Under normal circumstances, the crows would have immediately killed the young snake to protect themselves. However, because they had cared for his egg until that point, they had developed a motherly attachment to him.

So, rather than kill him, they claimed him as their own. The kept him in the corn field, and provided for him to the best of their capability. They stole newspapers in hopes of him learning to speak. Stole clothing to cover him once he learned to take his humanoid shape.

They did not name him "Kah". Rather, he thought that his name because that was the sound that left them whenever they were trying to gain his attention. Granted, there was no possibility of them keeping the child hidden from Scarecrow forever. He eventually became curious of what they were doing out in the field.

There came a day where he ventured out to inspect, much to the dismay of the birds, and he found the boy asleep on a pile of old clothing. At first, he had been enraged. The offspring of a hated enemy was on his land. He returned to the barn in a fit of anger, and retrieved his weapon.

The crows screeched their pleas, trying to make him change his mind. His intention had been to kill the young serpent. However, when he returned and found the creature looking up at him through sleepy, innocent eyes, he hesitated. He hated Kah's parents- that was a cold truth.

However, the child was innocent. He had done no one any form of wrong. He was a cruel man to his victims, but, the reality of it was that he was not heartless. To the relief of the crows, he did not harm the young serpent. Rather, he took pity on him, and took him in.

He was moved into the barn, and from there Scarecrow acted as the father figure to Kah. The crows continued to care for him, and as he grew he became a loyal part of their family.

Victims/Targets:

Typically, Kah goes after anyone who poses threats to the crows. His name victims are dogs and cats, among other animals that may come out to the field with the few people who venture into the farmland. Many people have lost their pets to his protective nature- and a few have learned the hard way how difficult it is to escape a constrictor.

Hunters and poachers and the key human victims, though he's gone after everyday people looking for something easy to shoot at. He typically kills by snapping necks, or crushing his victims chest with his grip. Usually done in serpent form, he constricts around the throat or chest, and constricts until something breaks.

So he either snaps the targets neck with his squeezing, or causes their entire chest area to collapse from the force of his hold. Either way, death is inevitable. He will also aid Scarecrow and the crows with their hunting.

Extra:

-Kah does not like dogs, cats, or other creatures that will prey upon the crows. He behaves aggressively towards them, and will kill them at any given opportunity.

-Kah is hesitant around other snakes - normal or otherwise.

-He refers to the crows as his mothers, and calls Scarecrow his father. Usual terms are "Mama crow" and "Papa"/"Papa Scare"

-Ikki, the leader of the crows, is given more respect. Sometimes referred to as "Lady Crow".

-Unlike his biological mother, Jess, he cannot switch his gender. He is genetically and emotionally male, and remains as such.

-Like his biological mother, he has high tolerance for the cold.

-He hunts for himself, but often shares with the crows

-He is easily transfixed by fire - including fireworks.

-Like both his biological parents, the key way to weakening and/or harming him is to target his sense of smell. He is reliant on that for a lot. Other ways to harm him are damaging his tail. Enough damage to the tail can and will be fatal if it is not treated.

Anything else is to be decided by his newfound owner,
