Description A dragon based off of Simonn (Who belongs to )

"Some of the most helpless looking beasts are the ones that turn out to be our biggest allies. Small, flightless, and seeming to be without means of defense, the Little Guardian somehow manages to look after dragons that seem more than capable of killing it.

The Little Guardian is a smaller species of dragon reaching only the size of a pony. It sports long legs and tail, long ears, and a seemingly short neck. While it has wings, they serve no purpose. Two "Prongs" grow from either side of the tail, and act as a means of securely grabbing onto nearby items such as sticks or rocks. Two flat, curved horns grow from its head, and small spines grow from the back of its neck and along its rump. While the horns are strong enough to crack rock, the spines are mostly for show - they detach from the body upon being snagged on something.

This breed comes in a small number of colors, mostly being shades of red, brown, and green. Soft as its body is, it is covered in thousands of small scales that act as a means of temperature control and protection from parasites. The scales are smooth, which is why the dragon seems so pleasant to touch. The claws on its feet are mostly used for digging, and for grooming other dragons. How this dragon managed to gain the favor of dragon species such as the Smoky Death - large, violent, and dangerous - is unknown. All that is known is that it somehow manages to act as a guardian - or nurse - to such dragon species. At the same time, it is relatively dependent on the help of larger dragon breeds to get enough food.

True to its name, the Little Guardian is a relatively calm, but protective and attentive dragon that always makes sure to tend to the needs of whoever - or whatever - is has assumed the guardian role of. It is known to be cuddly and affectionate, and will portray high levels of distress if separated from or being rendered unable to protect its target. Tamable only if it accepts a handler as someone it needs to look after, these dragons are well sought after but difficult to deal with thanks to their nature. Albeit, they are good with children.

This dragon species is a plant/water elemental.
The Little Guardian produces a high-energy, nutrient rich fluid that rapidly increases the growth rate of many plants. This substance also energizes and holds minor healing properties if ingested by an animal or human. This may be part of why other dragon species seem to be dependent on it, as it ensures a dense place to hide and can provide a means of gaining energy at times of weakness.

The diet of this dragon consists heavily on plants - nuts, berries, flowers, leaves, even bark is something that is commonly consumed by the Little Guardian. It is known to also eat fish and small rodents.
