Prior to death, Naomi was just a typical woman. Born to a pair of middle class parents, her schooling was average. She had decent grades, and a deep affection for animals. The only odd thing about her was that she had no fear of any creature the typical person was wary of. Wasps, bees, roaches, dangerous wild animals. She approached all without fear. Even after being stung, and bitten by creatures that didn't want bothered, her confidence around them never wavered. Instead, she just learned how to handle them better. Aside from that, there was nothing about her that would bring concern. Through childhood, she was the lone student who dealt with the few pests that made it into the classroom.

As one could assume, she grew to became a veterinarian. Everyone around her encouraged it because of her behavior. She did just that. Not long after getting her license though, she met an unfortunate fate. While out at a farm trying to treat one of the cows, she was crushed. The cow was ill, suffering from issues with labor. While one of her coworkers was getting things set for a manual removal, she walked to the side to retrieve a clean pair of gloves. The 1600 pound cow fell without warning. Unable to move out of the way in time, her chest and abdomen were crushed under the weight. Her chest collapsed from the force, and she passed away as soon as the animal was lifted from her frame.

After that, her family was given news of what had happened to her, and a funeral was quickly set up. An autopsy was performed, and it was confirmed that death had been immediate and painless come the removal of the weight that had crushed her. From there, there was a quiet funeral, and her body was buried in the ground. A few days later though, her corpse was dug up in the darkness of the night. An old hermit who lived outside town had caught ear of her untimely demise. He was rumored as a nutcase, so no one really knew his name. Truth of it was that he was a Necromancer. Her corpse would be prime material for his dark work, so he naturally stole her corpse the first chance he had.

He dug her up, pulled her from her coffin, then took her to his home after getting everything cleaned up. He didn't need people knowing the cemetery had been raided. Once he had her in his house, he got to work. Through use of his dark magic, he revived young Naomi. He'd gotten to her before the effects of decay could make her skin peel, and he worked to make her skin a more pleasant color. He fixed up the stitches from her autopsy so that they weren't as ugly, and he cleaned her up. For a few days after that, he worked with her. There was more than one reason behind him reviving her. Partly because he was lonely, and partly because he needed a successor.

He gave her free will and consciousness when he revived her, but she had limited memory of what had happened to her prior to that. She remembered the animals and being a vet, but not much else. Due to this, she looked upon the old man as family. She respected him. Admired him. Loved him. When he taught her something, she willingly learned it. For years, she studied under him. He taught her the arts of Necromancy, and in time she learned to combine her powers with her affection towards animals. Or, rather, with her fascination with animals. She'd become fairly obsessed with them shortly after resurrection. Her lack of any real memories saw to that.

After a while, the old man died. Despite longing to revive him, he'd made her swear not to. He embraced and accepted death, and out of respect she did as he wished. From there, she was free to go about "Life" as she deemed fit. Her skin looked sickly, but she still appeared to be alive. Not wanting to remain in the lands her beloved teacher had died in, she began to travel the world by boat. First, she traveled to the other European countries. After that, she stayed in China for a short while, before eventually coming to stay in the United States. Once there, she seemed content with her location. Now, she travels between the states, doing her dark work wherever she goes.

Where her work is seen, she's come to be known as the Chimera Maker, or Lady Frankenstein in places where she's been spotted. These names are, due to her twisted hobby. At night, she breaks into peoples houses or sneaks into their yards, and she attacks animals. Using her veterinarian tools, she cuts away parts of animals and puts them in a cloth bag before heading to her hiding place to put everything together. No two animals are dealt the same treatment. Some only lose a patch of skin. Some, have organs taken away. Others lose a limb or two. Either way, the animals she harvests from are left to suffer. They either die or are discovered and given treatment in time.

She never takes from the same animal twice. As for why they'er not treated. Naomi no longer has a sense of physical pain- nor does she have memory of it. Being formed of half dead tissue, her body does not respond to situations that would educe pain. She cannot heal by normal means either. Instead, she must harvest tissue from humans in the event of her being injured. In the end it doesn't matter if the collected tissue is living or dead. She grafts it onto her body using her powers as a necromancer, leaving behind skin that looks good as new. As for what she does with the collected parts. Well, once she has everything she needs, everything is throw together until she's got a shape that can stand stably.

A body is stitched together, organs put where they belong. Then, using her powers as a necromancer, she gives the pile of combined tissues life to create a "Living" creature. A chimera, by definition. A creature that is genetically more than one animal at once. If she likes her new creation, she keeps it alive. Gives it a conscious, free will to a degree so they'll remain loyal to her. If she doesn't like her creature, she strips it of its life and abandons it to be found by the locals of her location. From there, she usually moves location. She's never in the same place more than a few months at a time.

By day, she seems like a fairly normal person. She walks around, buys food, talks to people. Most often she converses with people seen walking their pets. Harmless as it seems at the time, these interactions usually lead to her selecting animal targets ahead of time. All in all, nothing about her seems off- but only by day.

By night, she roams the town. She breaks into peoples homes, or into people's yards, and she steals parts of their pets. On rare occasions, she kills and takes the whole animal. After that, when she has enough parts she puts everything together to create her chimera. From there, she keeps or abandons it, then moves location to repeat the process.

With animals:

Animals targeted by Miss Chimera usually have a portion of their body removed. What she does, depends on what she needs. If she needs skin, she removes a portion, if not all, of the animals hide. If she needs eyes, she'll remove one or both eyes. If she needs a heart, she takes the heart. She takes great care with this, targeting only animals of a specific size range so that the created chimera will be stable inside and out. Legs are of matching length. Organs of correct size for whatever shape and weight she's looking to create. In more precise terms, she wont take the lungs of a chihuahua and try to incorporate them into the body of an creature larger than one.

With humans:

While human targets are rare, she can and will attack a living human to steal some of their flesh. This is usually done so that she can heal herself after suffering from a wound. Unwanted blemishes that never heal are a hazard to her work, and a dead giveaway of her not being one hundred percent alive. How much she takes will depend on how much is needed. If able she'll reattach her limbs if they'er severed, though at times she can and will steal someone else's. After that, its all the use of her dark powers and she's good as new.

Other:

-Being unable to feel pain, she often doesn't notice if her body is damaged. She gives her whole body an inspection before going out in public, to ensure that nothing is wrong.

-Her organs do function, but she does not need them.

-Unlike the typical "Zombie", she does not die if shot in the head. She continues to function like normal in the event of losing her brain. That is an effect of the dark magic.

-In the event of losing an organ, she will replace it with someone else's.

-Destroying her whole body is the only surefire way to destroy her. The most simple means being lighting her on fire.

-She names her Chimeras.
