"What are you talking about?! Those are strawberries!" Damon laughed after recovering from his brain freeze. Mariah poked at the ice cream, pulling a strawberry out of her cup with her thumb and forefinger; placing the frozen fruit into her mouth hesitantly. "They tast like strawberries but they don't look like strawberries." Mariah said, putting a spoonful of her blizzard into her mouth and swallowing it quickly. "Ahhhh!" Mariah screames while clutching her head in her hands, bending over and smashing her head into the table roughly. As quickly as the situation started it came to an end with Mariah sitting up strate, smiling and saying. "That hurt like hell but it tasted delisious!" Damon only stared at a long trickle of blood pored out of a gash that went across the center of Mariah's head. Damon quickly jumped up and grabed Mariah by the arm, draging her the the emploie bathroom. "What the hell is wrong with you?! Do you know how embarassing that was?!" Damon uttered harshly, pulling a paper towel out of the dispencer and diping it into some warm water, then dabing it on the would to clean up Mariah's still bleeding wound. "Hold still! Stop moveing!" Damon ordered while Mariah continued to turn her head out of Damon's reach, anoying him.
"Look if you don't hold still it's gonna-" Damon tried to warn when Mariah suddenly flinched under his touch, squinting her eyes in pain and griting her teeth to stifle a groan. "Sorry." Damon muttered, griping Mariah's chin in a firm but gentle maner so that she could not turn her head away from the wet napkin. "That hurts..." Mariah muttered quietly, attempting to turn her head but unable to because of Damon's grip on her chin. "I'm allmost done, the gash is pretty deep. I hope you dont wind up needing stiches..." Damon trailed off, putting down the napki and inspecting the cut on Mariah's forehead. "The bleeding stoped, but I think you should go to the doctor tomorrow and get it checked out, just to be safe." Damon said, removing his hand from Mariah's face and taking a step back. "So, just out of my own curiosity...Why do you walk around in a cloak and mask?" Damon asked, grinning sheepishly while Mariah stood and stratened her hair (which had gotten messed up while she was smashing her head into the table). "It's mostly for fun, but it helps out in my line of work." Mariah said casually, walking to the door and exiting the emploie bathroom when Damon opened the door (trying to be a gentlmen).
"What's your line of work?" Damon asked, while he and Mariah took their seats to finnish their ice-cream. "I collect the tainted souls of the human race for my master." Mariah said bluntly, while Damon chuckled deeply. "Did I say something funny?" Mariah asked, slightly startled by Damon's reaction; Damon continued to laugh "You steal souls! Thats to funny!" Mariah growled under her breath lightly, picking up her half eaten blizzard and walking around to Damon's side of the table and leaned down the whisper into his ear. "Watch what you say, I might just go to your house with a couple of my friends to steal your soul while you sleep." Mariah threatened, her breath tickleing Damon's ear as she spoke. "Thank you for the ice-cream. I'm sure my friend would like to try some to." Mariah said smileing, as she turned to leave Damon to finnish off his blizzard. "Do you have a fever Damon? Your face is beet red." Mariah chuckled before she left. Damon smiled with embarrassment as he watch Mariah walk away, her cloak fluttering slightly under the wind. "What a strange girl..." Damon muttered while takeing a bite of his blizzard.
Mariah made her way the the park, following the moonlight twoards her way back home. "Gate to hell, your master commands you...Open to me!" Mariah said loudly as the ground in the park tore itself open, revealing a pathway to the boat that she would be rideing in. "Hey Patric." Mariah said, jumping into the boat while Patric laughed darkly; his dark gray hoodie covering the upper part of his face. "What's so funny Patric?" Mariah chuckled, grabing onto Patric's hoodie and yanking the hood down to see his face clearly. "I know something you dont know!" Patric laughed, dancing around Mariah playfully; Mariah simply raised an eyebrow and chuckled. "And what is it that you know?" Mariah asked sarcastically, takeing a seat on the edge of the boat as Patric began to steer. "I'm not telling!" Patric laughed while waveing a finger in Mariah's direction,earing a chuckle from her. "You really are demented..." Mariah muttered, turning to look at the waterse; counting the souls that swam by out of boredom. "Last stop, everybody off!" Patric said playfully, shaking his left hand in mock anger for reasons unknown to anyone but Patric.
