"Who the hell does that belong to?!" Mariah gasped, looking at the sleeping infant in Audriana's hands. "This is Coco. One of the soul stealers that lives in the human world was raped a while ago, this is her son." Audriana said calmly, walking up to Sarah and putting Coco in her open arms. "Who's son is it?" Mariah asked, looking at the baby's pale skin and deep green eyes. "He's Jasper's son." Sarah said bluntly as she bounced the baby in the air, earning a giggle from the happy baby. "I thought you hated men Sarah?" Mariah sighed as Sarah continued to bounce the happy baby boy. "I hate men, not babies." Sarah laughed, catching Coco in her arms and rubbing her nose against his. Audriana simply chuckled taking Coco out of Sarah's arms and putting him into a baby bag. "I'll be going now, call me over anytime you want me to clean the house." Audriana said as she walked out the door, leaveing Mariah and Sarah to talk amonst themselves.
"So what are you gonna do tomorrow?" Sarah asked randomly, trying to start up a new conversation. "Don't know, maby I'll look for the guy I met earier." Mariah said as she and Sarah walked upstairs to go to sleep, both were tired from being away from home all day and needed to just lay down and relax. "Hey Sarah?" Mariah asked as her friend picked up a stuffed animal. "Yeah?" Sarah said, squeezing the middle of the stuffed toy lightly to hear the soft sound of its artificial howl. "Why to you allways sleep in my room? Do you not like yours?" Mariah asked, wathing as Sarah sat down on the floor; she kissed the white plush wolf on the side of the head quietly then gave Mariah her reply. "I don't like being alone in a room by myself. When I was a prostetute back in Rome, when I was still alive they allways forced me into a small, emply poorly lit room by myself. I hated allways knowing that at any moment some strange man could walk into the room and have his way with me..." Sarah said darkly her eyes narrowing as her grip on the stuffed wolf tightened slightly.
Mariah simply watched as Sarah sat on the floor and tryed to calm herself; Sarah closed her eyes slowly and kissing the side of the wolf's head once again, and then opened her eye's to reveal a sudden calmness as he re-buried her pent up emotions. "You okay Sarah?" Mariah asked gently rolling herself onto her belly, then placed both her hands onto Sarah's sholders gaining her attention. "I'm fine Riah. Lets go to sleep." Sarah said calmly, climbing into bed with Mariah and curling herself into her side. Mariah layed herself down next to Sarah quitely, the two falling asleep quickly and staying asleep the entire night. When Mariah awoke the next morning Sarah had allready left for work, she left a note on Mariah's dark brown dresser. Mariah picked the note up and read it over, laughing under her breath at her friends writing.
"Riah, I needed to hurry up and catch the guy that I'm after, I'll be home late so feed yourself and remember not to do any hunting. After I get this guy I'll tell you whats been going on with me these past few days. Luve Sarah."
Mariah shook her head with a smile on her face, putting the note down and walking down the stairs out of her house and to the river of souls. After a short ride in the boat Mariah walked to the surface of New York, and stood in the middle of the street. The loud honking of a car horn caught Mariah's attention and she turned her head to see a bus driving twoards her. "Wha!" Was all Mariah had time to say before she found herself being pushed out of the way by a thick black mist; Sarah had been nearby and had sucessfuly push her friend out of the impending danger. In an instant Sarah's shadow figure raced back to the shadows of the nearby buildings; hiding herself from the concerned gazes of the people in the crowd who were swarming Mariah. Mariah was dumbfounded, undable of focus on the comotion around her as the driver of the bus made his way to her; screaming and curseing at her for foolishly standing in the middle of the road. "I have to go..." Mariah said, her voice completely calm as she ran away from the crowd of people, stopping a good distance away to catch her breath and look around.
"Sarah?" Mariah called, getting no answer; Mariah walked around the alleys of the streets for hours calling out for Sarah. "Sarah!" Mariah yelled once she reached the end of the last alley in the city, a few tears slipping out of her eyes and quickly evaporating as they touched the skin of her cheeks. "What if she's hurt?!" Mariah thoght to herself in a panic, an immence fear unearthing itself. If Sarah was hurt, she would hide from everyone includeing Mariah; and those unfortunate to get too close would be killed on the spot. Gritting her teeth Mariah turned and ran out of the alley not caring to look where she was going. A few steps out of the alley Mariah crashed into the side of a young man in his late teens, knocking him over onto another teen who was carrieing a guitar as she fell on top of him. "Hey whats the rush cutie?!" One of the men asked Mariah, pulling her off of the person carrieing the guitar and holding her firmly against his frame. "Let go of me!" Mariah yelled strugling against the mans grip, pulling an arm free from his grasp and elbowing him in the side.
"Calm down Mariah." A voice said calmly, and Mariah turned her head to see Damon pulling himself off of the ground; flicking his black fringe of hair out of his eyes her said. "Let'er go Matt, she's an aquantance of mine." Matt did as told and released Mariah who practically jumped away from him, her eyes narrowed in a threatening manor as she turned to look at him. Mariah fisted her hands as if she was preparing to punch Matt in the face; Damon quickly put his hands on Mariah's sholders and pulled her away from the amused teen. "Don't go picking fightgs with these guys." Damon warned, draging Mariah away by her wrist and carrieing his guitar with his unoccupied hand. "They'll tear you to peices if the get the chance." Mariah put up little resistance as she was pushed into a crowded building, then was draged over to a corner and sat down in a chair. Damon put his hands on Mariah's sholders again and squeezed them reasuringly. "I don't know whats wrong with you right now, but talk to me out back after I finnish my show. I'll help in any way I can."
Damon said, pulling away from Mariah suddenly and walking up to the stage. The group of men that Damon had been with walked up to the stage with him and began to play some music. Matt was playing the drums, a man with spikey green hair was playing a base guitar, a redhead played an eerie tune on an organ and Damon played the guitar he had brought hith him as he stood in front of the microphone. Damon lets out a deep throaty laugh just before he began to sing in a deep, allmost frightening voice. "Darkness! Violence!" Damons voice was a scream that peirced painfuly at Mariahs ears. "Give it to me, I want your soul! I need your esence come make me whole! Let night consume you!" Mariah stood and walked into the crowd of people that were screaming with excitement. Bring darkness onto me allow violence to run free!" A dark figure loomed over the swarm of people, watching in amusement as the band played there wild and aggressive tune. "Satan send fourth your demons, hellfire, unholy minions! Let the flames surround you!"
Mariah stoped walking walfway through the crowd, as if to entranced with the music to take another step, the creature above laughed darkly as she watched the men play. "Bring darkness onto me allow violence break free!" Damons voice stoped and allowed the organs eerie tune to play loudly. "Bloodlust surrounds us!" The organ stoped playing, and the base guitar picked up its note. "Bloodrain satanic rehydration, say to me your incantation! Let the thirst break loose! Bring darkness onto me allow violence to run free!" Mariah closed her eyes and listened to Damons voice, her mind unnaturally calm and her breething to even in; she was traped in an state of peace braught opon her by the music. "Let the flames surround you! Give it to me, make me whole! Bring darkness onto me allow violence to break free!" Damons voice became frantic, and more wild as if he was traped in a state of pure terror; Mariah let out a content sigh as she reopened her eyes to look at Damon.

Damons voice momentarily stoped, then picked back up in a new slow and dark manor. "Darkness....Violence...." Damons voice stoped as did the music, the then turned and lets the stage to go out back and wait from Mariah to talk to him. Mariah struggled to make her way through the crowd of people, but the creature hideing in the shadows sliped through the crowd without even noticeing Mariah; the creature was going after Damon.
