A vast landscape left untamed.
Rivers only flowing come your tears,
and mysterious beauties yet to be named.

Your lips are but the garden bed,
home to many mountain roses.
I long to gently pluck those flowers,
and taste all that you possess.

Your skin the vast and dusty trail,
Which I will forever travel.
Hair a wild mountain forest plane,
another wondrous marvel.

You are poetry my dear.
A beauty fresh and wild.
My words could never do you justice,
my comparison seems mild.

The other half
I thought I'd never have.

Rest now and know, dear,
I have no other.
Who makes the stars shine
So vibrantly.

Burning bright for all to see.
Nearly endless in my glow,
thanks to your love for me.

Yet all the same, our love is not akin to starlight.
The unwanted supernova shall never come.
Together, we are an eternal glow,
though our time has just began.
