Quiet moans fill the air of an empty barn. A pair of young lovers lay atop the hay, halfway done with their intercourse. A blond haired woman in her early twenties lies beneath a brunet man around her age. Every now and again, the quiet call of a crow sounds off and mingles in with the soft moans of the pair. A few sudden cries bliss suddenly rise in the air, before the pair suddenly pull apart to lie beside each-other panting. They exchange a few loving words and repeat each-others names in a daze, blissfully unaware of the demonic presence that looms over them. Someplace in the hay, a creature of dark past and even darker future watches their every action intently. He- yes, this creature is a male- is waiting. Waiting to see if he has a reason to name either of these people as his next victim. So, he remains still in his hiding spot beneath the hay, waiting for the ideal moment to make his move. He watches as the pair go about the task of gathering their clothing- something small and shiny falls out of the females pants. The male, who had been the one holding the pants, bends down to pick the item up and he examines it closely. A look of utter shock appears on the males face as he recognizes the item as a wedding ring, and he swiftly confronts his lover about it. The creature smiles wickedly to himself and focuses his ears to catch every word of the conversation.

“Jessica, what the hell is this?!” The male shouts angrily as he waves the ring in front of the woman, Jessica's, face. The woman snatches the ring away from the man and slips it on her finger.

“It's a wedding ring Kyle! What the fuck does it look like?!” Jessica shouts as she goes about the business of dressing herself. She snatches her pants from the male, Kyle, and hastily puts them on to cover her bare lower half. She doesn't bother to try and search for undergarments, because she hadn't been wearing any before taking her clothes off in the first place. Enraged, the male grasps the female by her arms and shakes her roughly.

“Are you telling me you're married?! Jessica, we've been dating for six months!” Kyle shouts as he shakes the woman roughly, only to have her pry herself out of his grasp and swing her arm at him as if to hit him.

“Yeah, and I've been married three years! Look, it doesn't mean anything Kyle! I only married the fat bozo because of his money!... Your the one I love...” Jessica says boldly, though she takes on a sweet tone as she tries to butter up her enraged lover in an attempt at calming him down. Instead, the male pushes the woman into the hay abruptly and turns as if he plans to storm out of the barn naked.

“Oh get real Jessica! You think I care why you married him?! Well you know what, I don't! All I fuckin care about is the fact that we've been dating for the past six months, and you've been married all this time!” Kyle shouts as he goes about the business of gathering his belonging. His shirt, pants, boxers. Car keys, sunglasses, cellphone. A number of other small trinkets that the creature didn't care about listing.

“You know what! You know what... Just fuck it! Fuck you Jessica!” He shouts as he gets dressed, before he turns and climbs down the ladder, and without so much as another thought he heads towards the exit of the barn. Which is basically just a large hole in one of the walls- the doors are barricaded and cannot be opened from either side. In response, the female runs to the edge of the hay loft and peers down to watcher her ex-lover as he storms out of the abandoned barn.

“Hey! You can't just leave me here!” Jessica shouts before she tries to climb down the ladder, only to fall and land flat on her back- she knocks the wind out of herself in the process, and is unable to hear the response that the male shoots back at her. But the creature is able to hear it clearly.

“Fuck you Jessica, you betrayed me!” Kyle shouts before he disappears outside the barn, abandoning the female- unintentionally leaving her to her death in the process. To make sure the man wouldn't come back, the creature waits patiently for a few minutes, before he slowly climbs out from beneath the hay he used as cover. Then, he crawls along the surface of the floor like a phantom so that he can peer over the edge of the hay loft to watch the female as she slowly pushes herself off of the ground. Yes, he was going to kill her- but there was no point in chasing down winded prey. If he was going to hunt, he wanted his victim to be able to run properly- that would make the task all the more thrilling for him. So, he waits, and he watches as the female rises off of the ground and attempts to catch her breath. A wicked smile forms on his face once she starts to breathe normally, and he moves a hand to his mouth to whistle- but no noise comes from him. At least, not a noise capable of being heard by humans. Suddenly, a crow flies down from its place hidden in the darkness of the barn, and it lands beside to female to caw at her. In response, the woman kicks at the crow, only to have it charge at her feet and hiss at her. Frightened, the woman jumps back before abruptly turning and running away from the angry crow. She runs right out of the barn, and suddenly the bird stops following her, and it turns to stare up at the hay loft.

With the female gone, the creature rises and jumps down from the loft, and he lands perfectly on his feet without care. Now standing, his face and body are properly revealed in the dim light of the barn. Brown farmers hat with a blue tie- a ribbon of sorts- tied around it. Green vest over a long sleeved blue shirt. Brown pants. The vest and pants had patches of different colored cloth sewn into them as means of repairing tears in the fabric. Tan skin laced with stitches, as if his body had been hacked to pieces then sewn back together. Eerie demonic eyes with red iris's and black sclera's and pupil's. Long- in male standards- hair made of straw. He holds a farmers sickle in his left hand- the tool is stained with blood. Smiling, the creature extends his weapon wielding arm and the crow flies to him and lands on his arm. The crow chirps at him affectionately, and he lifts his other hand to stroke the birds beak gently. Then, the crow flies off of him and out of the barn, and he breaks out into a sprint to pursue the woman. He follows the crow, which leads him into a dried out cornfield located behind the barn, and sure enough his sensitive ears catch the sound of corn stalks breaking. The female tried to cut through the cornfield to get to the road, and in doing so she's gotten lost among the stalks. Chuckling darkly, the creature slows his movements to closely listen to the sounds of movement.

The crow lands beside him, and he watches as it walks in a specific direction- he immediately knows that his bird has pinpointed the womans location, so he follows after it. Before long, he spots the woman trying to worm her way out from between two unusually thick cornstalks, and he decides to give her a hand. Raising his weapon over his head, he swings it in the females direction and cuts down a number of cornstalks to free her, then she watches her she turns to look at him. Her eyes immediately widen in horror, and she screams loudly before turning to run away. He watches with amusement as she struggles to break through the cornstalks, and once he hears the sticks stop snapping he knows that she's reached his little hunting trail. Laughing darkly, he follows after her casually, swinging his sickle as he goes to clear the cornstalks out of his way. Once he reaches his hunting path, he starts after the terrified woman like a cat after a mouse. He lets her run for a while, then breaks out into a sprint to chase her down. He watches as she trips and tries to crawl away from her, and he stays at her heels to give her a chance to stand at run. He's toying with her, letting her tire herself out so that he corner her later and do as he pleases without fear of her having the energy to fight back. He watches with amusement as she forces herself back to her feet then starts back down the path, and to her dismay she meets the end of the trail.

The corn is to thick for her to run through, especially when he has a means of cutting down the stalks to reach her. So as an act of desperation, she turns around and darts back in the creatures direction. He moves to the side and allows her to run past him, then he cackles maniacally as he starts after her again. This time however, he brings his empty hand to his mouth to make the silent whistle that had summoned the lone crow. In a flash, an entire flock- a murder of crows- burst from their hiding places in the cornfield, and they swarmed the path. Thousands of loud caws fill the air as the ebony feathered birds fly past the creature, keenly avoiding him so that they can chase down the fleeing woman, who is screaming madly in fear. The birds surround the woman and circle around her, savagely lashing out at her with their beaks and claws as they swoop by her. With that, what was left of the womans ability to run was torn clear out of her body. She collapses on the ground and continues to try and pull herself in the direction opposite the creature, who has easily caught up to her and is ready to claim his kill. Once at her heels, he steps on one of her legs to stop her from moving. He raises his sickle above his head and swipes repeatedly and her shoulders. He watches with amusement as blood pours from the gashes he inflicts, knowing that what he's done to her arms has made it impossible for her to try and move away from him.

Next, he steps off of her and lashes out at her heels. He cuts the tendons that control her legs, rendering her crippled, and again, he watches as the blood flees the wounds. The smile on his stitched mouth widens, revealing his shark-like teeth, and he steps around to her side to decide where to slash at her next. He shifts his weapon and goes for her stomach. He expertly slashes the skin covering her entrails, and he watches as they spill out of her body unharmed. All around, the murder of crows is in a frenzy- they caw and screech continuously. He moves his hand to use his silent whistle again, and a lone crow flies out from the flock to land on his shoulder. He pets the bird affectionately for a moment, then extends his free hand to point at the womans unguarded face. In a flash, the crow leaves his shoulder and goes straight for the womans eyes- it plucks one out and devours it, then leaves the other to lash out at her face. The bird tears strips of flesh out of the womans face, it rips her lips off, devours the skin on her chin. The creature silently whistles again to call the crow back, then he turns to the murder of frenzied crows surrounding him and his victim. He points at the womans entrails, and the crows swarm the womans body. They devour the organs that have spilled out of her, along with her body from the waist down. He watches as the woman calls out for mercy, begging to be left alone- but he takes delight in her cries and continues to think of ways to torture her.

He calls the onslaught of birds off then steps closer to the half-eaten woman, and he kneels beside her to look at his handiwork. She stares up at him pathetically, tears and blood streaming out of her face. He looks her over, and decides that she doesn't need her hands any more. In a flash he severs them from her body, then he follows suit and cuts off her arms. He looks down her bleeding frame, spots her exposed spine and severs that as well. He grasps her severed lower half and tosses it away for the crows to finish eating. He looks to her once more, and sees that she's nearly dead. Then, a gentle look crosses his features and he moves to wipe blood away from her face with the back of his hand. He leans over, and kisses her cheek, and he moves his sickle to cut her ribcage open. He reveals her heart, and whatever other organs are hidden way behind the ribs, and he puts his free hand atop the slowly beating organ. He looks up at her, his toothy smile widens, and he tilts his head in an almost cute manner.

“Don't be scared... You will love being my little crow~” He coos, before he clenches his fingers around the womans heart and rips it out of her body. He fixes his eyes on hers and watches as life slowly leave them, and once he is sure she his dead he turns his attention to the still organ he clutches in his hand. He brings the organ to his face, and licks the blood off of it. Then, he takes a bite, and he swallows it without chewing. His eyes fixate on the still heart, and he drops his weapon to lift his other hand. He holds his hand over the hole in the heart, and he smiles gently.

“Wake up my little crow~ The flock awaits you...” He says softly, before he drops the heart and watches as it suddenly begins to move. It fluctuates, and expands as it grows to a larger size. Blood squirts from it as a beak pokes through the muscle, and the muffles voice of a crow rings out from the moving organ. Suddenly, a head bursts through the hole, then a body squeezes out and struggles to be freed. The creature reaches for the struggling bird and pulls it the rest of the way out, and he holds in gently in his hands as he examines its sticky black body.

“Welcome home, Jessica...” He says happily, and in a flash the murder of crows surrounds him- yet his voice still rings loud and clear over the deafening calls of the frenzied birds.

“My name is John, but you may call me Scarecrow... Be a good girl now, and listen to Ikki... She's the crow in charge around here...”

Oh I'm glad~ I love working with other people's OC's and I actually gave her a hand. She hadn't decided how her OC turned people (Women) into crows when I wrote it, and she decided to keep my idea~
