Human!Leon, Snake!Jack, and Human!Sally, all together for the holidays and just having fun.

"Dashing through the snow~!" The little girl chimed as she playfully tugged on her brothers arm, only to be scooped into his arms and spun around playfully.

"The suns come out to play~" He said with a chuckle, earning a slight pout from the girl who grabbed his shoulders to give him an amused look.

"Leon, that's not how it goes~!" She giggled, only to be tossed into the air a bit by her brother who seemed to be in an extremely happy and playful mood.

"I know Sal, but keep singing~ Lets see how far we can get~" Leon said with a laugh, before he sat the girl at the table so he could resume getting breakfast going. Their parents had left for work, and seeing as he was nineteen he was put in charge of looking after his sister. In response, the girl laughed and continued on with her song.

"Over the fields we go~" Sally sang as she watched her brother cook.

"Go a merry way~" Leon chimed, earning a snicker from the girl. Believe it or not, they always did this around Christmas. The tradition had started when she was four and he decided to sing the words wrong on purpose to try and get her mad. Instead, they'd wound up giggling and singing their strange songs all night- and hence, the acts had continued every year onward. Though, no one could quite place why the male chose the lyrics he did.

"Bells on bob tail ring, making spirits bright~" Sally chimed excitedly.

"Oh, I can't wait for moonlights come, so we can play tonight~" Leon hummed in a happy voice as he cracked an egg into a bowl of flour and sugar. He was making pancakes.

"Oh, jingle bells~ Jingle bells~ Jingle all the way~" Sally giggled as she bounced excitedly in her seat.

"I can't wait for moonlights come- so send daylight on its way, hey~" Leon chuckled as he began to mix the contents of the bowl into a thick batter.

"Jingle bells~ Jingle bells~ Jingle all the way~" Sally repeated with a giggle.

"I can't wait for moonlights come, so send daylight on its way~" Leon chuckled with an amused roll of his eyes, before he began to spoon the batter into a hot pan.

"A day or two ago~ I thought I'd took a ride~" Sally sang happily as she bounced in her seat, eager to hear her brothers makeshift lyrics to the classical song.

"The beast I rode had flaming eyes, filled with pride~" Leon chimed as he adjusted the heat to the pan.

"The horse was lean and lank, missfortuned seemed his lot~" Sally giggled as her brother moved to retrieve a carton of strawberry milk from the fridge.

"So I fed the thing some treats, he ate all I brought~" Leon sang with a laugh in his voice- but rather than let his sister pick up there, he took over the chorus.
"Oh, jingle bells~ Jingle bells~ Jingle all the way~ I can't wait for moonlights come- so send daylight on its way, hey~ Jingle bells~ Jingle bells~ Jingle all the way~ I can't wait for moonlights come, so send daylight on its way~" He chimed as he flipped the pancakes to let them brown for a moment on the other side- it was Sally's turn from there.

"A day or two ago, the story I must tell~" Sally sang as she climbed out of her chair to go back over to her brother. She happily grasped his hand only to be picked up and spun around again.

"I came across a dog- that pup I did know well~" Leon chimed, before he set his sister back in her seat so he could pull the pancakes from the stove.

"A gent was riding by, in a one horse open sleigh~" Sally giggled as she watched her brother pile the cakes on a couple of plates, before he poured a couple glasses of milk.

"He asked me for directions, then I sent him on his way~" Leon chuckled- before both he and his sister began to sing the last chorus as he set the food on the table.

"Oh, jingle bells~ Jingle bells~ Jingle all the way~ I can't wait for moonlights come- so send daylight on its way, hey~! Jingle bells~ Jingle bells~ Jingle all the way~ I can't wait for moonlights come, so send daylight on its way~" They sang in unison as Leon sat at the table- and they ended their little song when he playfully kissed her cheek. For a few minutes after, they laughed clinked their glasses together to bask in the moment, before they seemed to settle down to enjoy their breakfast. Not far off, Jack sat contently on his perch in his cage, listening in on the siblings. Despite not being able too, he seemed to be smiling at them.

They were happy. All of them. Best Christmas in years- despite it seeming as if all the horrors had never happened to them.
