I cannot stress this enough. If you aren't 13, the accepted age for DeviantART (Among other sites), then you aren't supposed to be here.That is ONE rule I will always, and have always, followed.
Long story short, if you under 13 and on DA, GO AWAY.

If you're here to argue, there are legit legal reasons for people under 13 not being allowed on DA.
Also - a mature twenty year old would not leave such a comment.

I am 12 and is someone who legit wants to take my art as a profession. I feel obliged to be here and show off my art. And I love seeing others work. I do understand that some trace, show someone elses work, etc... I get that those need to be told, that that isn't what this website is for.

Its actually a rule on DA that your supposed to be 13 to sign up- its the same with many other sites such as Tumblr. Idk why the rule is there, but it is.
I understand wanting to be here for your art, but I've seen the consequences of lying about your age.

Aside from it being a rule, you CANNOT join DA unless you tell them you are 13 (Meaning if your under 13, and your here, you're lying about your age)
Aside from the fact that DA has a lot of advertisements and is not supposed to advertise to people under 13 (For one reason or another), there are reasons 12+under shouldn't be here.
Kinda like an age restricted movie- I suppose 13 is about the age where people are generally OK with kids seeing some dark shit (At 13 you can view the gore I believe, but nothing MA+18 until your an adult)
Its more or less to keep the youngers from viewing things they shouldn't.
Then there's what happens when younger kids get on, and start to make trouble. At 13, your fair game for juvi and receiving certain punishments if you break a major rule.
I was 14 when I signed up for DA and got my account. Same with my best friend.
