A Leon x Sapphire, Valentines Day story. Happy Valentines Day Sapphirefoxfire~!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Humming, the golden eyed male pulled the chocolate treat out of the fridge to add a few final touches to it. Valentines day was probably his favorite holiday, considering all the holidays he used to enjoy were little more than a painful reminder of the past now. Hey, as far as things were he was a romantic person. He was an affectionate individual. So, a holiday built around showing people how much you loved them, well, it was ideal for him. The perfect excuse to be the affectionate little serpent he was. Yes, serpent. He might have looked human, but that was far from the case. Genetically he definitely had Burmese python in him, now at least. Reincarnation, or whatever he'd gone through, was strange in its ways.
Smiling, he retrieved his frosting dispenser- which he'd filled with melted white chocolate- and got to work on adding the decorations to the solid mass of chocolate he'd made. All he had left to do was the final details of the eyes, but he put a white outline around everything else. He'd made a chocolate fox. All in all, it was a solid mass of chocolate about the size of a can of soda, and it weighed almost a pound. After a few minutes, he finished with the candy treat before sticking it back in the fridge to harden. In about ten minutes, it would be solid and he could give it to his little friend when she came home. While he waited for that, he went about the business of cleaning up the kitchen.
By the time he was done, the candy was ready to be taken out of the fridge. He did so, and set it on the counter where it would soften a bit. Chocolate at room temperature was much easier to eat than cold chocolate. Before long, the person he was waiting for stepped through the front door sporting groceries. He immediately set out to help her get them in and put them away. Given that she was given a weekly allowance to buy whatever she might need or want from the store, everything she'd bought was hers. Once everything was where it needed to be, he covered her eyes and led her to the kitchen where he'd set her chocolate. When he uncovered her eyes, he chuckled at her surprised reaction.
"Happy Valentines Day, Sapphire~" Leon cooed as he picked up the plate to offer her her candy, and once she took it he leaned to give her a soft peck on the cheek. He chuckled as he saw a blush spread across her cheek, before he gave her back a soft pat. With that, he walked into the living room and sat down to watch television- but, he had no idea what was in store. Sapphire, embarrassed, followed him into the living room. He expected her to sit on the couch next to him, or just walk straight to her room. Imagine his surprise when she sat in his lap instead. A blush painted his cheeks at first, before he chuckled and wrapped his arms around her frame to hold her close.
He didn't mind a little cuddling while he played his games, and she was in the mood for some affection. She quietly nibbled at her homemade chocolate treat while he played what looked like a corrupted game of Spyro. Not bad for a Valentines day~
