I see you went for the classic 'red hair and green eyes' It always looks nice on a redhead. I like the details that you put on the clothing. They're very complex.

I love the design of the clothing, and the way you did the hair! I have a soft spot for redheads. Although it bothers me his posture is really stiff, but that could be a personality trait.

I had to change the colours almost entirely because it was done on my boyfriend's PC but I didn't think to realize his colour and contrast settings were super messed up because his eyesight is bad haha. And lots of people said the shirt was very flat looking before because it didn't have folds so hopefully it's better now. x:

Thank you very much! There was a fair bit of research involved to try to design something practical, historical-ish and to his tastes. I think there's still some things to tweak, like I will get rid of the shawl and maybe scarf.

I really like is facial expression here and the definition on his skin around his eyes, the shadows are beautiful and it makes his stare pretty intense! The details on his outfit are really superb =0 the lines are so smoooth and really add to the picture!

Though...
I'm not seeing "savage."Β I'm seeing mad/angry/upset, certainly...Β and he seems a bit high-brow...
Maybe that's all just misconceptions on my part.
I wonder if a little under-breast shadow, not much, just a little, wouldn't be too out-of-place?Β He seems just a touch "flat."
Of course you are free to reject anything I've said above as simple wacky talk from some dude in some other part of the world.

Savage was a play on words as it's his last name, not a descriptor but I decided to change the title anyway. I'm in the middle of fixing up a lot of things right now because It was made on my boyfriend's computer and his brightness/ contrast settings are waaaay out of whack. I'll see for the shadow on the shirt, it does seem flat.

Yeah I decided to change it before anyone critiqued it out of confusion but I was a little too late lol. And yes it's soooo frigging frustrating. I think I might have to paint the entire thing over from scratch. I didn't even notice until after I uploaded and had to switch to mine.Β
