This is in my favorites and everytime I pass by it my eye wants to linger. The way you've captured the drama of the scene and created action and tension is awesome. The fact that you did this in photoshop further blows my mind. I hope for the sake of your sanity this was done with a tablet and pen.

i agree with just about everybody else on this-it frickin rocks, i was wondering though, about your process. obviously, most of it is done with straight up paint, and then probably photoshop? whatever your doing it kicks ass. keep it up, i love the fact that you are bringing more traditional mediums into this kind of work-we need more of it.

i love the "kids story" style as well, but i think i made this before i saw animatrix. i'd say its more inspired by a certain scene in pulp fiction

This reminds me of a Scorcese movie. I love the little subtlies in the piece. The men with hats in the background, almost oblivious to the man with the gun. The spilled coffee on the table with the man holding his head in fear. Also how the gun man's collar and tie are loosened.
I really love the use of both bright and muted colors to describe the feelings of the characters. The man with the gun is wearing dark, sad colors (Except for the bright red tie), while the background is a loud collage of greens and whites, giving the viewer a look into the violent scene.
