my first image of 2004
painted in psCS, app10hrs over a few weeks,
2985x2571 pixels, no reference.
this one started out very differently as [link] , inspired by this image by capt.flushgarden over at sijun [link] , worked on it a little and got this far [link] but realised it wasn't really going anywhere, figured a change of perspective and a bit of simplification was needed, and came up with this [link] , after i got this far, i realised that it looked a little like craig mullin's streepatrol [link] so i have to give him subconcious credit for ingraining images in my head, here's another wip shot a little further on [link] , also like to dedicate this to ukitakumuki as i probably wouldn't have done this at all without seeing so much of his fine work

This is a very Neat Work , very Inspirating and a true eye candy!!! That is my kind of future soldiers outfit not very exagerated but very dark and and "stormtroopers" feeling. I love it !! this goes to my favs for sure!

very interesting work.
almost makes me think of a sort of clouded interpretation of war. like an alien, or someone from centuries ago, reinterpreting a vision of war as it is now.

Very nice photo. I love how you kept stages and drafts of your work. Smooth shading, realistic lighting, etc. It's all been said. Thx for the insight into your mind as you created this.

impressive. the lighting and shadows contrast so well... the men look almost spooky, behind those mask. i love how you highlighted the broken window. lookd amazing. great work.

this is very moving...
the broken window...car in the distance...me in masks its like when a country is taken over and the streets are so dead,their walking into the darkness leaving behind the light...the contrast is great...shit...u rawk..it work good hours on your images but their truly worth it
