This past weekend, my family and I decided to take Josh on a day trip to Vancouver BC (Canada) and we visited the Capilano suspension bridge. We were on our way back over the bridge to the gift shop and I decided that I wanted a perspective photo of the bridge. Josh had already started walking over it, so I took the photo with him, thinking I could always edit him out if I needed to. Best thing was that when I looked at the photo, I found that it was much better with him in it than without. I scaled it to grey, boosted the whites and darkened the blacks a bit, and added negative space to enhance the visible area. I'm happy- mostly because Josh likes it.

no, not yet,...i just havent found what I'm looking for. It's pretty hard to describe..i want something black and white, kinda scary, classy, almost romantic-esque. Preferably of people....

I suggest browsing back through =Mary--jane 's journals. She has a lot of links to some beautiful deviations that might fit what you're looking for. Hopefully they have prints accounts.

I think this photo would be better suited without a frame (although I tend not to like borders/frames at all).
And yes the top is way too contrasted, but as you point out there isn't really much you can do about it and the photo would look weird if you chopped it off.
And I agree that the photo looks better with someone in it crossing the bridge (and the cool reflection his body makes).

Perhaps. I've thought about getting rid of it every once in a while, but I like it both ways, and this one just has such an amazing amount of negative space that the white pulls itself together really tightly.
