Description Fanart of Woodrow (Garr) Kelvin and the sword Igtenos from Namco-Bandai's Tales of Destiny.

Drawn and inked by hand, then completely redone in Photoshop.

So ~middletails is putting together a Tales fanbook to sell at a few conventions, and the colored version of this will be in it. I'll post updates on the book as we know more!

Woodrow is one of my favorite video game characters, but he gets no love. For those of you who haven't played the game, the sword Igtenos is a character, which is part of why I mentioned his name above. Igtenos also took a really freaking long time to draw. If it were any other sword I would have done a totally half-assed job. >_> But yay for wind-elemental swords!

If anyone wants me to upload the version without the swooshy wind lines, just ask.

the manga is very good, but I never got to see the last chapters because the scanlation site that I was seeing never finished it! XD

Thank you! I didn't think of that, but it totally does look like Vortex! When I was drawing this, I was getting a little worried because I couldn't think of a spell he casts that involves wind swirling around him, but I decided I didn't care that much.

Thank you! The sword was a pain at first, but I actually started to enjoy drawing it after a while. I kinda forgot how to do perspective and had to relearn it.
