I made a mega concept for use in the Rival-Gates community! I will likely get around to making Mega and Gigamaxed forms for a lot of the man-made Pokémon since I love the aesthetic! I leaned into a War of the Worlds vibe considering the very alien look of the Pokémon in general. The duality I'm messing around with is that the giga forms will be more organic and the mega forms will lean harder into the computer nature of man-made Pokémon.

Mega Genesect
Primary Type : Steel
Secondary Type: Bug
Ability: Multi-Colored Blast- The first Techno Blast used in battle takes on the typing that would most weaken the foe. All additional Techno Blasts take on the typing of the Genesect’s equipped Drive.

Mega Genesect upon mega evolution gains an additional two lasers on it’s arms and is now an average of 8 feet when lifted in the air by it’s new massive legs which can extend an additional several feet if prompted. It looses the ability to hover, but is quite nimble on these new legs, able to crawl on a number of surfaces with ease. Mega evolution causes it to lose all sense of self as it falls back to violent programming, attacking any Pokémon that are not man-made like itself. The Genesect will first work to accomplish the original goal that drove it to mega evolve in the first place, but afterwards no one is safe. It can no longer recall the memories of any of it’s Pokémon friends and multiple elemental types course through it’s laser creating a cold and calculated machine. It will use the most damaging attack on the first Pokémon it sees to discharge this excess of elemental energy. It will not rest until it’s fully out of energy to take out the Pokémon around it and cares not for the damage its lasers might cause to the area.

If spoken to or blocked by another man-made Pokémon, it is more likely to at least hesitate due to the program's demands to avoid damaging it’s fellow machines. Some especially humanoid Pokémon can confuse it as well, but it will eventually see through this and attack again. Their speech will often become garbled and hard to understand, often mentioning it’s goal of complete annihilation of life. After the mega evolution has passed, the Genesect will suffer from a prolonged loss of self as it struggles to recall it’s personality and memories, although it will calm down and no longer desire to harm others. Some memories might have been damaged permanently by the thrashing the mega evolution does to it’s systems. It will eventually act like itself again, but the new memories of the places and Pokémon they might have harmed while mega evolved will surely hunt it for years to come.
