I started this map a long time ago on the basic 'worlda' template map used over on AlternateHistory.com and can't remember if I had any particular POD in mind other than 'maximal German Empire from an 1890-ish divergence'. Some of the decisions I made were a bit weird (Wallonia is probably the oddest) but I've transcribed them faithfully into Inkscape. I decided to focus on Europe since, although the colonial changes were based on actual German pre-WW1 ambitions, they looked a bit crap. Basically, Germany has Angola minus the Moxico panhandle and northern Mozambique while Britain takes the rest and Katanga.

By the looks of it there's been a European War between France-Russia and Germany-Austria-Hungary (with Italy staying out), and a separate Britain-Ottoman conflict leading to the British taking control of most of Arabia and establishing a protectorate in Palestine (how long the Ottomans would last after losing every major holy site south of Lebanon is another question).
