Description
Part 1 of 3.is having an art jam where people draw Sega characters they think would be neat to see in Sega All Star Racing. Since I love the game, I decided to make a few entries and focus on franchises that aren't represented yet.
The first part is Sketch Turner from Comix Zone, an old beat-em-up from the Genesis days. I wasn't sure what he'd drive as a vehicle, so I ended up with a car that drips ink as it goes (like Sketch himself drew it).
People familiar with the game may think that a giant paper airplane would be a better vehicle, but I decided that that's what his All Star move would be, as it would give him a lot of extra speed and it's powerful enough to take anyone out of its path.

Comix Zone
One of my favorite beat 'em all ever!
Neat!
I actually like the ink' car idea pretty much! And in a modern game, it could look pretty amazing!
Sweet^^

I quite like the idea of the car myself. I knew that if anyone would be driving a car that was leaking colour, it would be the comic artist.

Wow. I actually played the game on my PC when I was younger. However, I wasn't that too good of a gamer back then so I kept dying. Having only one life doesn't help things either. >__<

One life AND you take a little bit of damage if you try to break crates with hand-to-hand. Make good use of your inventory...

I've always been a fan of the beat-em-ups, so when I found out about Comix Zone, I was quick to look into it. I think it's one of those franchises that deserves a revisit one of these days because the idea behind it was unique.

Yeah. It was awesome despite it being so short. It's got such a following now that I wouldn't be surprised if Sega actually USES Sketch for DLC in the game.
