Description
I'm starting to try and thumbnail drawings as much as possible before actually starting on the painting process. My original idea was to have a girl sitting at a bar with a happy smile on her face. I was listening to a lot of Tim Buckley, so I guess I'll blame his ghost for altering the image into a gas-masked searcher. On the whole I'm fine with it, and I only neede to use two different colors, yay!Watercolors.

I have that problem too. One way to improve that is to take the photo outside (esp. when it's overcast out). Sunlight is just so much brighter than any house lights.

I'm willing to try at least.
But I think its a fundamental problem: digital devices just aren't designed to properly display physical media. You know? Digital Artwork is naturally brighter, and higher contrast. They're made to be displayed on monitors which emit light. However, physical replications of digital art never look all that great to me.
