Ah....I fail......I used a statue as a ref but when I compared my drawing to his old portrait I saw how wrong everything was...oh well, it's late and I'm not going to get the chance to draw again anytime soon, so t'ell with it.

Niccolo Machiavelli.... I seriously love this guy. So. Freaking. Much.
Just everything...the philosophy portrayed in Il Principe, not to mention he's lived during the Italian Renaissance (squee!!), AND he was Florintine, and his life story it just awesome and yatta, yatta, yatta.
But it's not just all that. It's the fact that this guy is a character in two of my favorite modern works; Micheal's Scott's The Secrets of Nicholas Flamel series (I've been reading them since they first came out >///<), and Assassin's Creed. He's. An. ASSASSIN. (hulls yus.) Everyone loves this guy!
Anyways, I tried to draw the Micheal Scott version. It was a quick doodle because I never have any spare time nowadays. Isn't supposed to be summer? =_=
Might I add, the Micheal Scott's version of Machiavelli is just--
I would marry him if I could.
Gosh, I get the weirdest crushes.
Why is he covered in blood? No clue. I've always kinda had an unheathly obsession with drawing blood on peoples faces. 0.0
