Description
Commission for of DC's Terra.Drawn on an 8 1/2 x 11 inch sheet of cardstock with an F lead, inked with Sakura Microns and PITT Artist Pens of various sizes, and colored with my trusty Prismacolor markers. Highlights added with an Elmer's Painters marker and white Prismacolor pencil.

She came out all kinds of incredible here. You captured Amanda Conner's style wonderfully with your own and the colors are gorgeous. Some fantastic work all around and her expression is the cherry on top of it all!

I really wanted to add some element of Power Girl in this but I didn't want to muddle the overall composition of the piece. I am stoked that you liked it and it's always a fun challenge to draw a character I either haven't or don't draw too often in this capacity while still paying homage to the artist who the character is known for.

Heh, well, with the DC reboot, she may be gone for good, so at least I'll always have this! I think you made her look adorable and hey - maybe next round we can do a PG companion piece to make up for it!

I wouldn't worry, after all they just have to stick shoulder pads on her or add needless tech-looking pieces to her outfit and she'll fit right in with all the other re-designs.
I'm down for a Power Girl commish since she's always a blast to draw!

Heh, true, but I think they're bringing back the original Terra, as Atlee might be too confusing. If PG hasn't showed up yet, my hopes for Atlee fade. :\
As for the commission though, I'll definitely keep her and you in mind for the next round! Would be pretty fun to arrange!

That's what I was thinking too since all the shots of Terra I found old and new just show her riding around on rocks kinda like the Silver Surfer. I know that, much like Green Lantern's ring, if I had the power to control a substance like rock I'd do a bunch of crazy-nutty stuff with it!
