The only costume! Bad ass Wolvie. First time I've seen him in years that made me think "Now that's Wolverine the way he should be." He's been so Hugh Jackmanized stereotyped that I can hardly recognize him any more. I miss the Windsor-Smith Wolvie, the Miller Wolvie. Hell, I even miss Jim Lee's Wolvie! Anything but this matrix get up!

Don't get me wrong, after seeing 'ol Hugh sportin' the muttonchops and goin' all berzerker like in X-2 I've gotta admit at least he's a better choice than some of the other folks they had in mind. But, like you I miss the old days of neat costumes and cool storylines.
That and I don't care what anyone says or thinks, ORIGIN is just another fake implanted memory in my book. 'NUFF SAID!

The grey washes are Prisma markers. Everything else is my trusty Microns ranging from my 01 all the way up to the Brush for the big black areas.

I haven't forgotten about sending you some hi-res pencils for you to slap some ink on. I've just been uber busy and I'm going to tackle an eight page project (inking and all) by myself. After that I'll be starting one (maybe two) new series for a publisher and I might need an inker to help lighten the workload. I'll keep in touch so keep your ears open.

These grey pieces don't take very long...minutes at most. This one was a bit more involved with all the inking but since I just draw out a quick gesture in blueline and go straight to ink it took maybe fifteen, twenty minutes or so.
I've always wanted to draw the X-Men, but with all the recent changes I'm not sure I could jump into that universe anymore. I'd definitely take 'em back to some more recognizable costumes but that's just the fanboy in me.
