Description
Sketchcards done for the Marvel/Rittenhouse X-Men Origins: Wolverine set. More info here .From what I understand, due to other pressing matters my cards didn't make it into this set but will be showing up in the X-Men Archives.
All cards are created using F Lead, Micron and brushpen, and colored with Prismacolor markers with a Uni-ball Signo white ink pen.

Thanks Dane! Yeah the deadline snuck right past me while I was busy dealing with other stuff but Rittenhouse told me that they were going to try and stick them in with the X-Men Archives set as case incentives or something like that.
I really don't know what all that means.
I asked Robert if it was okay to post them up even though they may never show up anywhere and he gave me the thumbs up. I'd like to see your cards so if you get a chance post 'em up.

yeah, I saw that X-men set's special archive boxes were going to have a special pack of extra sketch cards in each box. I assume they'll be in those.

Thank you! Had a blast drawing the hairy little bezerker psycho for this set. One more thing I can check off on my bucketlist: Got to draw Wolverine for Marvel check!

Aw dude! Don't even get me started on who I didn't get to draw. This set had some guidelines so I didn't get to draw everything I would have wanted but Maverick would have made it for sure in the X-Men Archives set if I had been able to finish them as I had planned.

Yeah it did bum me out but sometimes life has a way of kicking you down at the worst possible moment.
I'm glad you liked them and they may pop up in the X-Men Archives boxes so they may still get out there! Guess I won't know until they show up on eBay.

By "gnarly" do you mean the Deadpool unmasked card? Funny story, I was finishing up that card when my wife leaned over my shoulder and asked how come Deadpool was covered with big zits.

Thanks! I know that early on there was some confusion as to who could be in the set but I just went with it. The only ones I wasn't 100% on was the Daken and Cyber cards since none of the main guys from the set are in them but Robert gave them the thumbs-up thankfully.

Generally the sketchcards themselves don't take me very long to do. About half an hour each or so.
There were other things happening in my life at the time of doing this set that kept me from finishing the work up on time. Which is a pity now in retrospect as everyone that's seen these cards has really liked them.

when know you know...and learning is half the battle..XD. i know how you feel on that i really do.but always know your true fans are always looking forward to your next masterpiece.and we support you all the way ya know.im learning a bit from your art as well.matter of FACT!i picked up a book yesterday!!! and its so helpful!!!! and amusing and fun at the same time.wow i pretty much went all over the place with this convo haha!

As for having "true fans" I think I'd rather have patient, supportive friends instead because I'm just another guy doing my thing and having fun. I'll leave the fan thing to the rockstars and wannabes of the world.
