Description
This is my picture dedicated to the fight for a cure against AIDS. It is a disease that kills far too many. The biggest key is awareness and safety. The only way is prevention until we find a cure. HIV/AIDS is a currecnt struggle for those who live day in day out with it. Sadly other countries do not have it as good as America. While Americans have the money and resource in order to make medicine that prolongs lives....many other countries are unfortunate and have no resources.Bushs plan for abstinence only(bush is against sex education and the promotion of condoms) he is only making it worse. Sure teach kids abstinence, hope they will listen, but in the end you can not only force one thing down their throats and expect no kid to walk a different path. So in order to protect everyone there needs to be information, more openly information for the youth so they understand the truths...This disease is beyond powerful, but with knowledge and teaching there is a way to prevent it. Just be smart.
Hopefully we will find a cure in the years to come.
Dedicated to all those that struggle and all those whom lost their lives to this battle.
[This is representative to the "attack against AIDS" the red and white cells....red for aids awareness. ]

I just read that if every european spended the same amount of money on fighting AIDS as they do on buying ice-cream, the disease would be under complete global control. Our ignorance is insane. Likewise if every American spended the same amount of money on food for third world countries as they do on buying pet food, no person alive would suffer from famine.

well pet food is important too, but the controlling of pets is even more so. I think they should actually not compare it to pet food and compare it to the merchandise america spends. Because america spends three times that on merchandise than any country. Although it is very hard mentally for people to really feel the effects of the starving children across the world. But I find it really sad how much food goes to waste here in America and how many big businesses could donate so much more food.

of course i think the pets should have their food, it's only meant as an illustrative comparison, as how extremely little it actually takes to save the world for so man people. and not only companies, govornments too (should pay more to poor people, that is).
