Now everything has changed I'm finding a new equilibrium for 2020. With my studies nearly over and only one exam left to go, I'll try and work out time to do at least 2 projects a month just so I can keep my skills up.
So, as I have been working on a project for a friend's birthday, I wanted to do another for my Labyrinth collection. Having done several characters from the film in the last few years the other year, I decided to add another Sarah to the set. Now being used for wedding invitations for a friend
I continued in grey scale as the others had been done that way and with the birthday project being a colour one, this was so relaxing for when my eyes got 'colour strain'
Done with polychromos pencils and built up in layers, utilising my pressure application and layering techniques, the picture consists of 8 colours.
Sarah's eyes were done with dark sepia, warm grey 1, warm grey 3, warm grey 4 and warm grey 5.
Her eyebrows were done with dark sepia and warm grey 4.
Her nose was done with warm grey 1, warm grey 3, warm grey 4 and warm grey 5.
Her mouth was done with dark sepia, warm grey 1, warm grey 4 and warm grey 5.
Her face was done with white, warm grey 2, warm grey 3, warm grey 4 and warm grey 5.
Her hair was done with dark sepia, warm grey 2, warm grey 4, warm grey 5 and warm grey 6.
Her shirt was done with white, warm grey 1, warm grey 3 and warm grey 4.
Her waistcoat was done with white, dark sepia, warm grey 3, warm grey 4, warm grey 5 and warm grey 6.
The hedge behind her was done with white, dark sepia, warm grey 1, warm grey 4, warm grey 5 and warm grey 6.
The sky was done with warm grey 1.

Completion time: 22 hours 46 minutes
