Personality: Quick/ Mali can be very quick witted, sarcastic, and a joker. She sometimes frustrates others because of her quick tongue, but she does this all in good fun and doesn't aim to hurt anyones feelings.
Curious/ Naturally as a past scientist and adventurer she gets extremely curious and loves trying to figure out the answer to any problem or solve mysteries. She'll get in trouble with others for poking around places and looking at people stuff, sometimes she'll ask if she can take things apart to see how they work. This also leads her to go on "adventures" to see if a treasure is really there or if she can do something
Problem solver/ Once she understands how something works she tends to find the best way to improve it or fix it if it has a problem. She tries to find the best possible solutions but she isn't perfect and makes matters worse sometimes.
Compassionate/Caring/ She empathizes with others and tries to help them with their problems or at the very least make them feel better. She doesn't want others to get hurt and strongly dislike fighting amongst other gems (despite being guilty of it herself).
Short tempered/ She doesn't like smack talk (gossip is a different story), especially about her or Druzy. If someone is insulting her or someone else theres a high probability she'll blow her top and chew them out or even start a fist fight with them. whenever she gets poofed in little brawls like this she'll come back with the hems and collar of her jacket changing from pink to dark teal every other regeneration
Abilities: Regular gem abilities/She has above average balance (and can perch on the top of poles and other objects)/ her body temperature changes drastically depemding on her mood (when she's mad she's burning hot, and when she's sad she's ice cold)
Appearance: Short/curly pixie cut hair combed over to one side, A pale pink crop top under a green bomber jacket with pink hems and collar, pink roses on the sleeves, and a purple rose patch to remind her of Druzy, Long black Gloves, poof pink pants,black heeled boots and a green mask with pink dots
Other: She sometimes has bad days, but they're ridiculously bad (like, everything is falling or spilling on her, or shes tripping and accidentally breaking stuff
She hates fighting and won't do it unless absoutely necessary or if she's having a tantrum

She created many devices and several alternative power sources that helped homeworld greatly, but refused the order to power tech with gem shards and was soon imprisoned for defying the diamonds direct orders. She was a total recluse, focusing souly on work but became slightly more social after her imprisonment ended (where she was supposedly tortured according to gem gossip).
