This is how I have currently been drawing my rocks c: It’s not very realistic or even very accurate but, i’ve Been asked on how I approach them and so I figured I could throw something together to give a brief step by step on how I draw them!

The biggest thing i didnt mention on the image is remembering your light sources, as well as reflections, water, etc. Depending on the environment your stone may be more ragged, or if there is tons of water flowing or hitting against the stone it will be smoother on one side where the water touched then where it doesn’t!

Like any other element it just takes time, repetition, study and practice! You will get it c: just keep trying, experimenting and you’ll find a style and way you like drawing things like these!
