I am INCREDIBLY pleased with how all of this turned out, this gotta be one of the coolest characters I've ever designed. This is Retroroar, my secondary Transformers-sona. Multitracker is still my TFsona too, but I believe they've ended up representing a younger and broodier part of myself, while Retroroar here is the bubbly me and represents my dreams of the future. You could say these two are the two sides of the same coin!

While Multitracker is more story driven and serious, Retro is more for self indulgent mumbo jumbo. Although I'm planning on maybe using him in the same story as Multitracker so I guess we're gonna have a Spiderman pointing at himself-moment .

Backstory:

Retroroar was born from a hot spot on the planet Velocitron. Straight from the moment he was born he got plucked up by a mysterious scientists who was developing a new strand of virus. He used protoforms as incubators for the virus, planning on releasing them into the population and allow them to grow for as long as the virus allowed before it would activate and take control over the host. Retroroar turne dout to be the only incubator to survive this long, and the virus has yet to activate....

He was still a young bot when he came to Cybertron, and began working as a trader in one of the bigger markets in Iacon City, focusing mainly in cosmetics and rare materials. During those days he was good friends with the young clerk Orion and the medic-to-be Ratchet. Retro was often the one initiating they hang out at the hippest bars and drink the most colourful drinks (may or may not have caused some hardcore hangovers for all three more than once) but he also loved to just go to cafés and relax with them, or show them the newest neatest metals, or occasional crystals, he had managed to get his hands on. When not at the market or hanging with friends he spent most of his time with arts, mostly creating depictions of the night skies over Cybertron or crafting ornaments to sell and trade.

As the war broke out it was no hard choice for Retro to join his friends and become an Autobot soldier. During the war he joined plenty of battles but preferred to work behind the front line and take care of supplies. Being a trader he had a good eye for sorting, shipment, and priorities. He also picked up the skill of Energon refining, a skill that would come to great use later...

After the great exodus of Cybertron Retroroar was separated from the Autobot fleet and was eventually forced to make an emergency landing after his escape vessel suffered heavy damage. He landed on planet Earth and without tools or supplies he was unable to do anything about his ship. Trapped on the planet he had no other choice but do what he must to survive.

He arrived to earth in 1960, and has lived under several identities using his holoform as a decoy, moving from plate to place to start a new life to avoid "living too long". During this time he got great use of his skills of Energon refinements, as he could search for crystals and bring them to his home to refine, and then fuel his true form similar how someone might fuel a real car. As he began his Energon hunts he also picked up the hobby of prospecting and is now an avid gemstone collector.

While living disguised as a human for about 40 years now he has picked up a ton about humans and has grown to really enjoy the their culture, their music, art, and lively aesthetics.

Currently he's living a new life in a small apartment in Jasper, running his own little vintage/second hand shop. At first things were calm, until he began running into Decepticons while searching for Energon, that's when he knew this little blue marble was soon going to be the next war front. He waited for the Autobots to come, but they never did; or so he though. It was not until later he began noticing oddities in Jasper, and soon realized the Autobots were actually moving around in the town, hidden in their vehicle modes. Retro began investigating the activities and managed to figure out they must be hiding within an old military base outside of Jasper.

He gave it a shot and drove to the abandoned base, honking and doing doughnuts until the kids went out to check who it was, not wanting to blow the Autobot's cover. Jack recognized the driver, as Retro, or rather "Baxter" often stops by at KO Burger. Baxter recognized Jack as well, and after the not so smoothest conversation in history he managed to convince the kids to let him in into the base so he could finally reunite with his old friends, and meet new ones.

His powers often manifests in a pixelated, fragmented, or glitching look if not specifically coordinated to appear as something else. While this ability is his main mean of attack he can also use it in a harmless way to warp light around him to create illusions.

• Data manipulation
For as long as Retro can remember he has been able to access and alter data found within non-sentient consoles and networks. This ties into his energy manipulation, and might be an explanation to why his attacks appears like pixelated or glitched graphics.

• Fire manipulation
Retro can ignite the air around him, as well as shoot and breathe fire projectiles.

• Advanced audio system
He can record, edit, and re-play audio. He got a library of sounds, mostly silly things and music, but also some few precious memories.
