The actual title of this Crayola color pencil drawing is"Moonglo the Magnificent and the Imagination Machine".
Moonglo is the mouse hiding behind the front headlamp. The car is a 1931 Ford.

Thanks for looking so long! This picture actually saved me, spiritually and creatively. I was really ill for a long time, and was very depressed. I hadn't done any serious drawing in more than a year.
One day, I decided to clean up an old art table in my classroom. It must be 30 or 40 years old. The wood in the legs is really brittle, so I had to repair it. After I fixed it up and put a piece of matte board on the table to cover the scratches, I figured..."Hmm. Maybe I'll draw." So I took out a piece of paper and started looking for reference. My students really perked up and as I began working, so did they. Their behavior was better, and because they were asking lots of questions, our relationships improved.
As the drawing progressed, so did my self-esteem and my energy.
I decided that if it was so good for me AND the kids, I would never again go a term without doing some serious art in my classroom. If I start to feel down, I almost always realize that I haven't been doing any art.
The lesson was a great blessing.
