I had just watched some joke trailer for a LoZ movie when I drew this -- and not to be mean -- but the guy playing Link was, well... uglier than homemade sin. So that made me think, is there a human male alive pretty enough to actually be Link?I didn't use any reference, but I think I had Taylor Hanson in mind when I drew this (farm1.static.flickr.com/224/49… )... he was about the prettiest boy I could think of. Too bad he's a musician and not an actor; I could really picture him with pointy ears and a green windsock on his head.
Who do you think would make a good Link?

I thought Josh Duhamel might could pull off the Link look, but he doesn't have the right hair. He's bit too old alos. XD Taylor would be a lovely Link.

Well, there are (so far) at least two LoZ characters
that look like they could be my children if Ganondorf
is their father. Link is one of them. O_o
It's really quite awesome...
However, your realistic drawing of Link made it mildly
frightening because it's like I'm looking at a realistic
sketch of my 17 year-old kid when I'm 19 years-old.
It makes me think, "What the crap, man?! O_o"
