Goofing around on the computer produced a portal similar to what was seen 15 years ago in the game known as Chrono Trigger. Truthiness, no lies....
Actually I created this just putzing around in CS5 with stamps and brushes. Still kinda cool though.

Hmmmm, this reminds me of the Song of Time from the Legend of Zelda series, the Silmarils from Tolkien's books, some item I can't remember the name of (power charges of some sort for the Arwing) from one of the Star Fox games, Kratos vanishing in a flash of blue light and feathers in Tales of Symphonia (Tower of Salvation first visit, at the very end of that long scene), and a bunch of other random stuff all at once. Kind of cool from a design standpoint, too, though I don't think I have anything useful to say about why.

PS7 is classic though! I was using it up until June when I got my new computer with the latest OS that wouldn't run PS7. I still run Macromedia Flash and Dreamweaver 8 too. As per the description a lot of it was brushes, you can definitely do things like this in 7 if you can find things you like :3

Its truely mesmerizing how this image looks 3d and how did you manage this with brushes, did you use gradient, blur or magic stamp tool. I'm amazed while trying to figure out how you did this using what you did.

CS5 is quite nifty. I swore that I'd never leave PS7, but it obviously won't run on my new computer. CS5 is filling the gap. You can also buy it as a standalone version w/ educational pricing too so you don't have to buy the entire creative suite at 80% off msrp, very helpful to my wallet.

Oh right, at the End of Time if you accidentally chose to go to 1999 A.D. hahaha. I definitely thought, "Yea right, I doubt it really takes you to the final boss... oh... oh this is bad!" Did that a few times on my first playthru as well. XD
