Description Time consuming and difficult. There was nothing easy about this one. Seeing it on the comp it took quite a flop---but I hope you enjoy this one. There's no rotations in this---one view was more then enough to deal with lol.

The entire canvas 18X24" was done with oil based paint pens. Average from 5 to 20 coats in some areas. Almost every line was thought out because my work, as u guys know, is all connected.
The sky and smoke were done with acrylics.

Don't let the larger images fool you---there's more there then the obvious as you all know my style. Forget about seeing it all---that would take multiple viewings and much more time then I expect any of you to spend on it---and I fully understand that. Wide area viewing is recommended to catch the more sneaky images. : )

Anyway---hope you like and enjoy the imagery as much as I did while working on it when it wasn't torturing me. : )

kittennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn ? lol You still didn't find the shoe---that ones easy.
See the orange face with the glasses? OK--how go under that face and your at the top of the shoe. Going straight down is the heal---spike---to the right is the front of the shoe---the slope (pipe arm) of the shoe. It's a black staletto. So you did see the scooter (well the appearance of the orange man riding it---or the girl in the corner---no I'm not crazy

Full view is incredible on this piece.

I think the title you chose is perfect because this appears to me as small piece to an extremely large flying mass. Those cylnders to the left that are spouting out air seem to be somewhat controling the direction of this mass.

And all of the faces you worked into it are very subtle but they add a lot to it.

This is such a bizarre piece, it's like a cross between the matrix and sonic the hedgehog. That might sound bad but I mean it in a good way. I really like this. Great work.

I've looked and looked and don't see it. I see that back bar with the circle at the end of it though. is that it?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Stepbeyond In reply to Webb97 [2006-04-28 06:11:40 +0000 UTC]

ok---easy---the orange man with the glasses---see him? ok---his neck is actually at the top of the shoe. Put the black together---go straight down---that's the heal---back of shoe---follow it up and foward the the dront---the slope down---the pipe man's arm is the sole of the shoe---and the bottom of the slope you see the black tip of shoe. Now you have me so curious about you seeing it

It was--but too much frustration and time too. Gezzzz---it looks so awesome here---it lost alot on the net---more then my other posts. Oh well---to be expected. After all I see it as about 2x4" on here---what should I expect. It's a 18x24" inch canvas with very rich colors.

I have to get my work to art show. This post made me see I can't put that of anymore.

Scaryme87 In reply to Stepbeyond [2006-04-27 12:34:26 +0000 UTC]

Do you have photoshop? With that you can probably make the colors more vibrant

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Stepbeyond In reply to Scaryme87 [2006-04-28 05:33:57 +0000 UTC]

yes I do have photoshop. What kills me is how rich and colorfull it is---so you think to have it look the way it looks here I should enrich the colors in Photoshop? Maybe---but it's also very much the size---and the fact you would view something like this at what? About 3 to 6 feet away on average? Everything on comp looks like you're inches away from it--or at least ur seeing all deviations that way.
Back to the subject though lol I'll see how it works---sometimes paintings just don't do well with the digital combination---but lighting and contrast etc might bring it up a notch that it lost here. Thx : )
