Guardians was originally posted in 2005 I believe. I made mistakes that I couldn't fix at the time so I basically blacked out so much that was in it.This was painted again over a canvas print. I tried to restore the original look of this piece. Improvised on the blacked out areas and very happy to have Guardians full again as it once was.

Yes, you're right. btw Your compliment of Guardians has to be the all time compliment of the past 4 years, and I have had many very nice things said to me. It meant so much to me be because you said that seeing it on here, the art destroying web 
Anything I've posted for the past year has been done with little exitement because I know before doing it how dissapointed I'm going to be--I'm sure you know what I mean. Painted Fantasy Rider went right down the drain lol It's regular paint, metalics 17X28 I believe. It's very striking and there's much love in that peace. At least a few have told me that in person. I think you know I never plan the works, they create themselves with me making many decisions, but none the less--it's like they will do what they want and tell me which way to go, and no, I'm not crazy

You should start looking more closely at all the art you view. Start seeing beyond the very obvious. Try to give deviations a little more time (I know it's hard)
Remember, your brain need a few seconds just to interpret the lines, form, etc--etc. Try it

I see a ton of mechanical parts here. Also, in the upper right-hand corner I see a bird swooping down. Neat stuff here!

Guardians goes on and on. It's also a turner. Upside down is real good, and I believe the right turn. The main character---or one of them is a woman (upper left) with the crown with the wings outstretched. The woman has 2 distinct bodies. Hint. On the lower part of the image see if you can make out a knee. The other body has a skirt up to the knee. This has alot of fun stuff.
Think of it this was. All total Guardians took--the original then this repaired version, about 150 hrs both working and looking. How in the world can anyone really get it in 5 minutes? 15---1 hr? They don't. No ones fault---just the way it is posting art on the net.
I don't expect anyone to give my work or anyone elses that kind of time. Like I said, most pieces from many artists--these drop dead works of art are gedtting chopped to pieces. Get your work printed and out in the world. lol The net is one tool among many to advance your art career. Don't put off the so many things you have to do spending it here. Don't (in a way) escape from living breathing art world by hiding here. Or, at the very least have your own web site, which, bad me, hasn't done yet. However, I'm involved in so much with art, so I'm giving myself a little break lol In the next month that will be done

The time you spent working and the time spent looking IS extremely incongruous! It definitely is one of the pitfalls of posting on the Internet. I do have a rinky-dink external site (which I have to clean up and seriously update), but I would love to have something more professional. I want to get out into the real art world!
