EDIT: Also, for those who are wondering, that little bit in the first panel is me acknowledging the path down to the League. I forgot that you could walk down there and battle your rival, and by the time I remembered I was already halfway through the game. Sorry, but no battle with Green this chapter. :/

Finally the journey starts. And we have a NEW TEAMMATE! Meet Anna the Rattata! I like her; she's a sweetheart. <3

Also, the Viridian City Gym is the same as the one in the TV show, but all the future Gyms will be a bit more generic with little differences per gyms. They won't look like they do in the show (mostly because I don't want Celadon to look like it does in the show. That just looks silly.) But when it came to Viridian, I couldn't get the show's version out of my head. So my canon is every gym is given a similar building that the leader gets to design and add little touches and stuff. But Giovanni just has so much money, he just renovated the whole thing and made it fancy. Giovanni does not do small scale.

As for the last chapter: You'll have to wait longer to see that trainer again, but it's coming, don't worry.
