Fanart Friday for February 8, 2013. (see below how YOU can join in!).

Sooooo as you all are blatantly aware by now, I’m hopelessly addicted to Nick’s TMNT series. I drew for the past few weeks some awesome renditions of the boys and April, but it totally slipped my mind to draw the one and only Master Splinter. So I rectified this. I drew it in between my tablet experimentation sessions, just for a little break, and thankfully I finished it prior to the Friday, so I thought I should upload it I had my reservations about the design of the Nick Splinter, but it really grew on me, and especially after the first Splinter-centric episode, "I, Monster", I had a whole new respect for 2012 Splinter… they really did a beautiful job of characterizing him. With that said… the new design is actually kinda fun to draw. I kind of still threw a bit of my own flair to the design, but I hope y’all still like it anyway. I’m quite pleased with my first attempt.
