Commission for " 'sThis painting was a bit of a challenge to me because I had some freedom in it but not much. I mainly went off the direction from ~flatlinedreams who was very detailed oriented in the way he wanted it. I don't mind this one bit because it's great to see something from a different perspective, this only makes me stronger as an artist.
So I asked ~flatlinedreams what the meaning behind this piece is and to which he responded:
"Some individuals on the Bioware forums, myself among them, believe that, if Samara were to ever have a romantic moment with Shepard, it would amount to a quiet time spent together, and nothing more. This is the scene that came to my mind, in trying to imagine how that might look."

Wow this is great. Maybe bioware should texture the normandy a bit more like this, make it a bit darker and edgier.
The Space scene is fantastic, with nebulas and stars, etc.
Now i kind of wish this did happen in game.

So sad. In a way, Shepard is right. Samara beats herself up so much, in the same way that Thane beats himself up for what he's done in the world.
