I used stock from to help me create this one. This is an elven character for an online game.Photo referenced can be found here [link]
My intent wasn’t to make this elf look like Ida so I only used her pose and some of her facial features as a basis. Thank you again Ida for a massive collection of stock photography for artists!

I kept working this one while working on other projects so it's difficult to say how long. I'd work a little bit here and there in an couple of days.
Took art classes all through middle/highschool and a little of the Art Institute of Dallas but really I didn't start to develop my style until recently. I still feel there's a long ways to go too. It's just like anything else, just have to keep at it until we get a good understanding of it. You known the old saying practice makes perfect? I find I learn while looking at other artist's work.
