Description
I made this after noticing some very strong similarites between the Sayian Saga (1st part Raditz) and Godzilla vs. Spacegodzilla. The basic plot is an evil brother (Spacegodzilla and Raditz) come to Earth intendint to rule it and take the hero's (Godzilla and Goku) son (Baby Godzilla and Gohan). The hero teams up with an ally that was inteded to destroy them (M.O.G.U.E.R.A and Piccolo). They fight to get the hero's son back and succeed in doing that, but the hero (Goku) and the ally (M.O.G.U.E.R.A) looses their life in the process. Mothra was put in there due to fanfiction reasons. I do plan on continuing with Angurius/Krillin, Rodan/Yamcha and so on. I'm willing to take any suggestions. If you add this to your favorites, please comment on it first. Thanks.Related content

They probably could, but it would take a lot to convince Toho to go along with it, given their past history with Gamera.

Maybe they already have and we just don't know it yet. Like they've already had Rodan Mothra and Ghidorah before they announced godzilla 2.
Plus king kong who knows what other famous monsters their putting into the cinematic universe.
But if Gamera is going to in it then Legendary is leading a new age of giant monster films.

I would think Ken Watanabe and Sally Hawkins would come back, seeing as how Monarch is the plot device that's bringing the monsters together in the first place.

Ken Watanabe definitely should return I agree. But maybe add some new characters with different motives.
Like Ken Watanabe's character believes in Godzilla is a force of nature's wrath.
And maybe have another think differently.

I would have Godzilla win the fight to show he's godlike compared to Kong. The whole idea of teaming up seems too mainstream.
Batman vs superman and both of the avengers are doing it.
You can only team up so many times until people get tired of it.

Yeah, but that's the plot they seem to be going for. With the superheroes, they at least have some amount of respect for each other. Godzilla and Kong teaming up is more of an enemy of my enemy situation, where they still dislike each other greatly, but fight to stop something that's a threat to their home.

Same. If anything, it'll probably the reverse since the success of the 2014 film is the whole reason we're getting Resurgence to begin with. Maybe with Godzilla vs. Kong, Toho will be inspired to do a crossover themselves. Of course, that depends of Godzilla vs. Kong is a huge success.

True, but the film is literally four months away from release. Granted, it'll be in Japan's theaters and not ours, but Toho might want to show something the moment they get the chance to do so, like at some big event.

I think if it's going to much like the original 1954 Gojira then I would think it's a solo maybe a chance to see if Toho still can make great Kaiju films like they used to.

And if you think about it, it's even more ironic that Frieza who I would dare to say inspired Monster X, gets a golden form.
While Monster X is another Ghidorah. (I see Ghdiorah as a race of giant three headed space dragons)
Both have a gold color to them.
