I customized a WELL M4-16A Airsoft rifle and a Tokyo Marui Sigpro SP 2340 to make match the specs of the U.B.C.S. M4A1 assault rifle and Sigpro Sp 2009 handgun from RE3 also working on the Umbrella CHronicles loadout

I got the U.B.C.S. sidearm now so that more or less completes my loadout now to finish the Umbrella Chronicles/ORC and RE3 mercenaries Mode loadouts just need the bandolier with the grenade dump pouches and a weapon prop of the S.T.I. Eagle 6.0 handgun (The purple one with the scope on it that youg et the A and B parts for by defeating Nemesis a set number of times Carlos has that as his sidearm in Mercenaries Mode on RE3) after that its pretty much set

The U.B.C.S. tactical vest was custom made by the same creator who designed the one seen in 's U.B.C.S. cosplay (Take a look at it if you've not already) I put the uniform itself together in whole with the manufactured vest and the rest of the gear and then got airsoft guns and customized them to match the specs of the weapons the U.B.C.S. mercenaries in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis carried the U.B.C.S. decals on the frame of the handgun and the mag well decal on the rifle I did myself using a label print out I bought the handgun online on amazon and the rifle you can also get one of there but the most recent one I've got for the loadout was actually donated to me by I used the scope and foregrip it came with then ordered a bipod attachment separate for it on ebay as well as a separate shoulder sling for it for when I'm carrying it around at cons since the Shoulder sling that it came with was crap and breaks way too easily the brand of the Assault Rifle is a WELL M4-16A Airsoft rifle the handgun is a Tokyo Marui Sigpro SP 2340 which is almost exact to the SP 2009 in RE3 so I decaled over where it said SP 2340 on the slide to make it say SP 2009 instead for consistency with the RE3 U.B.C.S. Merc's handgun. the leg strap worn on my right leg (Like Carlos has for whatever reason I do not know) was actually recycled from the broken shoulder sling that the M4 Airsoft rifle came with I sewed on a buckle to it also got the knee pads off ebay too and went to a sporting goods store and bought the tactical gloves from the airsoft section the olive drab tacshirt I got at goodwill along with the cargo pants which can also be bought at wal mart where I work at the combat boots are military issue steel toe combat boots I bought off of ebay as well and although you can't see it in the photos I also got as a solution to holstering my handgun without having to sew a holster on the inside of my vest (since Carlos doesn't have a holster on his like Nicholai does) a belt holster that I can attach to the belt on my cargo pants and just wear it in that holster underneath my tac shirt and vest

I'll be watching out for Nicholai through the scope of my rifle, I've been wanting to get an airsoft PSG1 for a U.B.C.S. sniper loadout like what Arnold had in RE Outbreak file 2 I did a generic Outbreak loadout of liek what Dustin and Karl were equipped with even included a generic MP5 prop which I plan on using for both continuing my RE Outbreak U.B.C.S. cosplay (which had the addition of a balaclava and goggles) as well as when I do my RE UC cosplay of Carlos I have a different stock to put on it its not an airsoft gun though its just one of those hollywood movie prop guns that lights up makes firing sound effects but aside from cons becoming less than Zer0 tolerant of airsoft firearm props I wouldn't be surprised if they say no to that too or to any type of firearm weapon prop in general but I do have my workaroundsin cases where airsoft guns aren't permitted as for the PSG1 airsoft wise the only brand that makes it is Tokyo Marui and its like $475+

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ProfessorOlivera In reply to Steven-CodeBlack [2015-05-22 18:41:02 +0000 UTC]

PSG1 is such a great rifle, I wonder if they even still make them. HK is the best gun brand ever, German engineering is the best when it comes to firearms! I have a pic with a ski mask and an AR15 lol Unfortunately, the conventions are getting more stricter on props, I did security for one before and they are strict, very strict. It kills the enjoyment and the cosplay's essential props. It's always a good idea to find out the con's prop policy first before buying the expensive props lol

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Steven-CodeBlack In reply to ProfessorOlivera [2015-05-23 10:43:08 +0000 UTC]

Yeah I fired a real PSG1 before its 1 gem of a semi auto sniper rifle, not sure that I'd ever be able to afford a real one seeing as I'd have to import it from H&K Germany for a sidearm though their 9mm USP isn't too bad a 9mm one similar to that from MGS2 only with a tactical strobe light wouldn't be too bad to use against hordes of zombies to blind and disorient them and then go for headshots at point blank range with (again probably an outrageously expensive customization to a firearm) as for con regulations I have my work arounds so long as the one carrying the weapon prop isn't stupid with it (I.E. doesn't go around pointing it at every person they walk past with their finger on the trigger) or otherwise brandish or wield it in a reckless or unsafe manner my method typically has went flawless as for buying the TM PSG1 I probably wouldn't take something that expensive to a con risking some other idiot there doing something or running into me and breaking it or something the one vulnerability about anything as far as cosplaying goes is nothing is idiot proof just gotta watch out for the stupidity of others around you I'm also planning to do the other loadout variations from RE3 Mercenaries an RE UC/ORC as far as my U.B.C.S. Carlos cosplay goes not gonna change the insignia on the back of my vest to the ORC U.B.C.S. logo no way in hell will I do that but I'll just add that bandolier with the grenade dump pouches he wears on his back for both the UC and ORC variation as for the RE3 mercenaries loadout I just need an airsoft version of the S.T.I. Eagle 6.0 for that or make one (If it would even be possible to make) a far as taking them to cons goes its not just a matter of whether or not there's an orange tip or if its capable of discharging anything out the barrel or not, the main issue is the one carrying it around has to not be stupid with it despite all the BS and rumors about how supposedly police are pushing to "make it illegal for conventions to allow cosplayers to use airsoft weapon props" so far airsoft stuff has still been allowed at Ohayocon me and a friend of mine in the RE group local to the cons I go to who also does security there intend to ensure it stays that way we know the whole system as far as tagging compliant weapon props goes I'm still gonna paint an orange tip on my sig sp 2009 since it didn't come with one already on it just an orange barrel plug

ProfessorOlivera In reply to Steven-CodeBlack [2015-05-23 17:05:06 +0000 UTC]

I would love to shoot and own one but yeah HK prices are over the top. However, you pay for what you get! I've almost bought an HK USP Expert but I decided not to because I would rather have the HK USP tactical because of the threaded barrel and Tactical sights.. That's a future gun, they cost like a thousand o.O The one used in MGS series is the USP and Mk23, For most people it's best to go with the USP bc the Mk23 is huge! The USP tactical is the best match for the series. Speaking of cons, do the cons in your area require y'all to zip tie the triggers? It's probably best to leave to good guns at home lol For STI Eagle you might have to customize one. Here is my State is called "peace bonding" just zip tie the airsoft gun's trigger and they're fine. For the whole ban thing, I doubt my state would allow that, I live in the best gun lenient state ever (AZ) However, the cons are runned by people who identify politically left and so their beliefs about guns are to be anti-gun, even if it's airsoft, a prop gun to them is still a danger, somehow....True story happen to me once

Steven-CodeBlack In reply to ProfessorOlivera [2015-05-24 12:38:59 +0000 UTC]

Yeah I think the in game MGS2 model might be the USP compact it also had a tactical light on it but if I get one I'm putting a strobe on it I've been trying to find a tactical strobe light rail attachment but haven't had any luck finding one anywhere Probably wouldn't use that at a con on m guns (Plus the U.B.C.S. M4 didn't even have one) due to the risk of someone with epilepsy being there and having seizures because of it, and yes just abot all of the cons I've been to have identified that weapon props have passed the inspection with the almighty plastic cable zip tie of approval but that's where my workaround for cons that are more stingy comes in

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ProfessorOlivera In reply to Steven-CodeBlack [2015-05-24 21:55:01 +0000 UTC]

Maybe, I'm more convinced that it's just the tactical. I have a blue light on the M4 prop lol hopefully no one goes bananas. Well I guess it's normal to have them zip ties, it's just kills the photography for alot of people

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Steven-CodeBlack In reply to ProfessorOlivera [2015-05-25 13:49:53 +0000 UTC]

My old one came with a blue light too but my new one just had a rgular flashlight with it but I didn't use that since the RE3 version doesn't have that on it the seller on ebay that I got my bipod for mine from also had free shipping for the attachment if I can get in touch with them I might ask if they have anymore in the same size as the one I got if the M4 you'll be using has standard picatinny or weaver rails this attachment should work on it as for the zip ties we just have to have them around the trigger guard, we can even cut the excess length off and last Ohayocon I went to they let us use black zip ties which was awesome

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ProfessorOlivera In reply to Steven-CodeBlack [2015-05-25 21:30:46 +0000 UTC]

I'll be getting a bipod once I get an AR15, can't wait. I did the peace bonding the first day at the con and I was doing that. I got in trouble once the people in charge saw that I've cut the excess Β

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Steven-CodeBlack In reply to ProfessorOlivera [2015-05-26 15:06:39 +0000 UTC]

At the cons I've been to the excess length wasn't required to be kept on there but I guess that also depends on what color zip ties are being used of course thanks to that known method I have my work arounds for people who are (putting it bluntly) tightasses about airsoft guns in general when Matsuricon was trying to say no left and right to anything airsoft at all basically to where if any part of it is or is compatible with airsoft guns its not allowed maybe its due to an incident Matsuricon had at another location since I THINK that particular con travels around and is held at different locations and at different times here in Ohio its at the end of august

ProfessorOlivera In reply to Steven-CodeBlack [2015-05-27 03:26:32 +0000 UTC]

Sick, so I found out that the vest that Carlos Oliveira Wears is very similar to one Iriquois Pliskin wears, I think I might do that cosplay next. Someone who was wearing Tiger Striped Snake outfit told me that while look at my gear, so there you go if you wanted another cosplay idea. All is needed is the olive green pants, headmic and a USP!

Yeah I had actually thought of cospalying the MGS2 vesion of Snake where he's in the navy seal loadout but the problem is that the U.B.C.S. insignia on the back of my vest is nonremoveable same with the mag well U.B.C.S. decal on my M4 I could just use another generic LBV teh back section on the type he wears in MGS2 is actually alot smaller than that of the U.B.C.S. version which is why mine had to be custom made in order to get an area large enough to put the logo on in correct scaling to how it is in RE3 not to mention the custom loadout of pouches and accessories too like how Nicholai's has a cross draw holster and Mikhail's has a radio pouch on the upper left shoulder whereas the generic tactical LBVs I've seen like that which the Sealss use in MGS2 just typically ahve pistola nd rifle magazine pouches on them I was actually planning to get a USP 9mm airsoft gun like the one in MGS2 but I was wanting to put a tactical strobe light on it instead was gonna use that for something else I'm working on as well I'd need a different set of olive drab bdu fatigues for it as well

Yeah, I figured yours is permanently there. But it's definitely an option if you decided to get another vest, I might do it for next time but I'll make sure that the back has removable Velcro and stuff. The USP is a nice addition to a real or airsoft gun collection.Β

Yeah the character I'm bringing to life whom most thought to be dead (along with Campbell whose mentioned in that other Merc's pocket book file) has a custom USP 9mm with a tactical strobe as a sidearm he basically brought from home it wa a non standard weapon he kin of smuggled into his loadout its part of a secret project I'm working on with a few other fans that's suppose to bridge together RE2 RE3 and the Outbreak games without all of that Spec Ops and Wolfpack BS that RE ORC threw in the purpose of this is to stick to the original events as seen in RE2 RE3 and the outbreak games as well as fill in some gaps in between it'll have a few new characters but this is mainly following U.B.C.S. units including Echo Team and partially Umbrella Security Service (But as seen in the RE2 and Outbreak games and same old school uniform variations too refer to Luke Rodriguez and Conrad Derek and Miguel as seen in Outbreak file 1-3) If you would like more details join this group here: www.facebook.com/groups/352649…

Hell yeah it would I wish other RE games would let you use a reloading tool to create your own ammo too that's one of my favorite things about RE3 in the Outbreak games they had 8 main character archetypes which included characters who were just civilians in Raccoon City like one was just an R.P.D. officer the other a bar tender and a doctor and David whose a plumber (I plan cosplaying him) and there were other U.B.C.S. and U.S.S. and various other NPCs who were modeled after their archetypes and each of these main 8 have their own unique items like Alyssa whose a news reporter she can pick locks like Jill but what disappoints me is there was no one who had a reloading tool that could create enhanced ammo if it were up to me there'd be a 9th main character type just a generic U.B.C.S. operative similar to the R.p.D. guy and the reloading tool would be his unique item

Most your stuff is custom right?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Steven-CodeBlack In reply to SandersonFromMadness [2015-05-19 14:05:30 +0000 UTC]

Yeah since some of what the U.B.C.S. and U.S.S. in RE2 and RE3 wore and carried with their uniforms and loadouts doesn't exist in real life alot of it had to be custom made the game designers did those custom designs most likely because they wanted to avoid having to outsource and pay royalties to 3rd parties for letting them use their designs of real life versions in games that was a common thing back in the video games of the late 1990s Today though often times that issue tends to occur more with the guns than it does the uniform designs which is likely why they may have given nicknames to certain guns like calling the Desert Eagle the Lightning Hawk in RE5 6 and Revelations etc... I was actually wanting to make a U.S.S. uniform that matches what was worn by HUNK Luke and Rodriguez in RE2 and the Outbreak games that has that bulky 90s SWAT Style ballistics armor at some point though
