this is not accurate. using a clipping mask and then merging it with another layer is a much cleaner way to do it.

i know you'd say that you prefer your style but its not accurate for smaller res sketches.

It's a little tough to see with the quality of the vid, even on DivX.

If you were to magic wand the negative space then invert the selected area, would it have the same effect?

I prefer to put my lines on an alpha channel and then color a layer with that channel mask to work on colored lines.

Was there any audio? I didn't hear anything.

There's actually a much easier way to do this . Go to your lineart layer and check the box that says preserve opacity, then color over your lines.
