Description I'm really enjoying Marvel's Secret Invasion storyline.

The girl in the front is Veranke. She serves as the Queen of the Skrull empire in the Marvel Universe. She has been posing as Jessica Drew a.k.a. Spider-Woman in the Avengers for the purpose of sowing distrust and confusion amongst its members while leading an army of Skrulls to conquer the Earth.

Cool pose and awesome work on the crowded background, though the buildings on the left donΒ΄t fit (only a matter of taste, donΒ΄t worry ^^).

but you're right! After all that detail I got lazy on those two buildings, and it shows. I made a bit of an edit on them and I hope it looks a bit better!

really cool, i am a little dissapointed with secret invasion at the momentr, i think too many of the reveals have been done outside of the actual story-i was really really excited when i first heard of it and the build up, but it has fizzled out for me a little bit since then, love the drawing, as usual, only thing i would say is there is a real descrepency in style of the buildings on the right and on the left. may have looked even cooler without the buildings that were not ruined(look computerised?) as it would have drawn immediate focus across the piece to the carnage as shown!!

why mockingbird, why???!!

You got me! I got lazy at the end and rushed off the coloring on the buildings. I got some time this afternoon and managed to work some more on it. I hope it looks a bit better.

very nice bro. yeah secret invasion rocks dude, it only pales in comparison to civil war. honestly though i don't think civil war will ever be beaten in my opinion. awesome work bro.

I agree.I loved Civil War. What was really cool about it was that all my friends were actually choosing a side! I'm non-reg, he's registration, etc. I supported Caps side although I knew there was no freaking way his side could win. Stark had all the money, brainiacs, gov. support, SHIELD and nearly all the big guns, power wise. The heaviest hitter on Caps side was probably Hercules. lol! Not fair!

totally man. civil war made me a huuuuge cap fan... too bad he died right after. and yes, i'm a fellow non-reg guy myself haha. as far as marvel is doing lately, this is my time to shine for comics. captain america (even if its bucky) beta ray bill, moon knight, deadpool, black panther, the dan ketch ghost rider, all of my favorites are around and playing a big role these days. i don't think there's been a month that has had all my favs, good time to be a fan.

hey man, i'm itchin to do a staredown with one of your characters. send me a link of one that you think would be cool.

Yeah, but while those books rock, the x-titles seem to be lacking. One of the reasons in my opinion have lost it's family type feeling. When I was a kid, x-men that didn't even get along never hesitated to reach out when a fellow x-men had personal issues.Even though they hated each other on a personal level, it was still them against the world and they were all crazy loyal towards each other. The teams seem to have lost that.

yeah i agree with you on that. i wasn't ever one of a big fan of the x books but still i like them. they are missing somethign these days. every now and then it'll feel like old times and those issues rock, but they are far between now.

A friend of mine used to be a huge x-men fan. Although he enjoyed the first 2 x-movies he's always said that those films screwed up the x-franchise beyond repair. Unfortunately, when I really think about it, I agree.
