I liked the look, hated the story. Nothing new there, I'm not a Superman fan. This is probably the 1st time i've EVER drawn superman.Superman (C) DC Comics

I love this pic! I hated the concept in Superman's own book at the time.. but Grant Morrison did well with it in his JLA stories.

Yeah.. I generally don't pick up his solo titles unless he has a writer I like. Still he has had some great stories over the years... He is a very hit or miss character.

It was after Superman came back from the dead. His powers went wonky. And one day his powered changed to electricty. And Star Labs created the suit to contain him. Then one day his contiousness split into to different Supermen. Both good but one wanted to save Lois and the Other wanted to stop a Meteor or something. I forget. Then you had Superman Red and Superman Blue. Eash.. I didn't like that story line myself. And I love Superman.

Yeah, but I could not bring myself to draw superman in the classic form. Maybe one day, though I doubt it as I am NOT a fan. I have noticed by watching other artist that Superman, in his classic costume, is very hard to draw! Either it sucks or it rocks, there is no gray area. I thought it was the worst costume change. It looks cool, but I'm good with the classic cape and boots. Maybe if the costume could be for another character...

yeah, i try to read him regularly by i can't. I can only tolerate him in short bursts or in other books (not his own titles) Maybe its not that I don't like superman, just that i don't like his writers? hmm?

I bought a superman pinata for his b-day and made him beat superman until his sugary entrails spilled out. he winced a lot.

As someone who wears a Supes shirt, I actually don't like him either. He has his moments, usually when Chris Reeves was playing him or in the JL cartoon but that's about it.
Killer job on him though. All ire aside, you rocked this one.
