Hal Jordan has always been my favorite of the Green Lantern's. Last week when CW [link] set the challenge of redesigning a GL, I chose Hal. I honestly thought CW'd pick Hal as well... Anyway, was bored tonight and thought I'd throw down a quick color version...Related content

This is a much more optimistic looking Hal Jordan, almost as though he had gained the Ion powers instead of Rayner.

Wow! This is not the color scheme I was expecting. It almost doesn't seem like GL without the black though. Not that it doesn't work mind you. What about turning his stripes black?
I was thinking the other day looking at this that I like the dynamic pose. Like he just heard someone say, "GL's are buttsniffers!" from over his left shoulder or something.
Or maybe he heard a cyclops coming...
