Description
Tyrannotitan,Sorry this isn't a properly rendered picture, but I have a lot of degree work to do
This image is more to give an idea of size. It is based on the skeletal reconstruction in the paper describing the animal. Tyrannotitan is known from some of the dorsal vertebra, possibly two cervical vertebrae, one caudal, part of the shoulder blade, fragments of the hip, femur, fibula and a few other bits.
There were two Tyrannotitan specimens described. The larger one is estimated to have a femur measuring 1.40 m, and this image is scaled to that. As with most giant theropod dinosaurs, early internet rumours suggest sizes between 13-15 m long. If the skeletal in the paper is correct, it suggests the largest known specimen might have been around 11 m long (my rough estimate, the paper didn't give one). That said, the tail is only known from one vertebra, so the exact total length isn't known.
The skull is a big guess based loosely on other relatives. It's only known from the dentary and the Jugal bone.
Edit 2022: I should probably point out that there are better reconstructions available for Tyrannotitan now.

Both these artists estimate around 11.8 m in length, so I wasn't far off!

It's nice to see a great artists' unfinished material. Helps me get ideas for my own work.
Really awesome job on all of your art, man! I love your shading, texturing, form, and well, a lot of things!

Well, it's very nice.
Anyone thought of this animal as a possible younger Giganotosaurus?

Probably not, it lived eariler in the Aptian period about (125.0 ± 1.0 – 112.0 ± 1.0 Ma) They think its more basal than giganotosaurus.
I still have yet to finish this pic, need more time.

Most probably, the lower jaw is similar, both Giganotosaurus and Tyrannotitan have a very square tip.

Thanks, and thanks for faving my utahraptor, , the problem with tyrannottian is there isn't a skull, probably the most definimg feature of any species. So its abit dodgy drawing it, untill more is known. It drew this to raise a point, that its not as large as everyone thinks it is.

well then i will have to improvise when i do one, base the head on both charharodontosaurs and gigantosaurs cause they were close relatives., gor suprised that the utahraptor could be as big as 10 m, i maybe read wrong.

Thanks for the fav Idon't know when I will be able to finnihed it.
I'm doing an animation degree, they expect us to develop 3 different ideas (even through everyone on my course has already picked the one they want to make, and are now forced to waste time on them).
