Description
I was very un-pleased with my last attempt at a full-color picture of Sharna (about a month after I posted it), so I went back to the drawing board to try to do her justice. I think this came out a little better. As far as the lighting goes, it was actually simpler than it looks. I just created a few extra layers and used a careful combination of selecting and airbrushing. The hard part was making sure I didn't leave anything out. I was going to replace the background with something more substantial and try to redo the shading on the gun, but then I accidentally saved this exact file over the full-size, multi-layered original. (Yeah, I know. 16 years' experience with computers and I go and do something stupid like that. Go figure.) So, yeah, this'll have to do until I'm ready to start another picture from scratch.
Those lightning-bolt stripes are a keeper, though.

I think she'd make an awesome King Of Fighters character.

Excellent. Now the question remains what she's shooting. Or trying to shoot.

Thanks. And offhand I would guess a member of the opposing team. (She's in a video game.)

It doesn't make much difference to me, so whichever's easier for you.

If it makes you feel better, I did that on my most recent drawing too (saving the flattened image instead of the multi-layered one).

It does, actually.
