That is a very biased outlook you have there. Don't forget that the Vengeance is a purpose built warship built using reverse engineered Borg tech while the Ambassador, while using Prime-verse TNG Federation tech, tended to get raped by regular Borg Cubes since it's primarily an exploration ship. To put it in perspective, they were both built for different purposes and one shouldn't forget that when trying to compare the two.

Honestly, I hope that the Vengeance-class beats the Ambassador-class. If you think about it, the Vengeance is a purebred warship using reverse engineered Borg tech and designed to fight more technologically advanced ships with a minimum of crew. I honestly think that the Vengeance would win especially since the Ambassador class is basically a luxury cruise and exploration ship. Also why the hate for Kelvin-verse ships?

Waiiit, the Vengeance used Borg tech? I thought that was the Narada? Ah, anyway, I would guess the Vengeance probably has highly regenerative systems. That, and its firepower IS second-to-none. Other than that, however, I don't know. Either way, I'd hate to be an Ambassador-class up against that beast.

There is the time gap though. The Vengeance is still 23rd Century technology facing off against shields and weapons systems that are more advanced.
