EDIT:PLEASE READ THE COMMENTS AS WELL!!! There are a lot of good suggestions from other crusaders on how to crush the bug we call art thieves.
I was recently asked by a new member of #Doombringers how to report images.
Instead of going into the details, I thought I would make a tutorial on how to do it for people new to deviantART who are looking to make it a better place for everyone else.
This tutorial goes over just how to report for theft, but as you can see, there are many different things on deviantART that need reporting.
If you need any help with other categories to report, please do not hesitate to ask.
If you also need to find a link to another place a deviation is posted, use TinEye to find other places that it could be posted, that way deviantART will delete the offending images.

thanks for the image, though I have the problem of seeing an artist who's stealing many different artists, some of which I either can't find or don't know, but I doubt the art belongs to the deviant in question. Is there any way to in general report a deviant in general?

I tried to report someone who keeps rendering artworks without permission and not crediting them properly (they just state "credit to the artist" wtf). And apparently if you are a third party and not the original art owner you cannot file a report???

God, that annoys me to no end. "Credit to artist" isn't giving credit to the artist.
I've called people out on that, people that repost art on Instagram but just say "Credit to artist". Two of them blocked me, which was pretty funny ~ further proving my point that they know it's not their art.
Or they say "I did credit the artist" or "Credit is in the picture". No, that is NOT giving credit. Hell, people have even said "Reposting art is not stealing". It is if you're not giving credit properly.

This is great and all, but what if the art they stole from you is being used as their profile photo?
I drew some fanart from Undertale, and I realized an account that watches mine was using my photo for their profile pic! They blacked out my text, cropped it a bit, and added a flower crown on top of the character's head. But the fanart is mine-- I still have multiple files in Paint Sai of various checkpoints during the drawing. (I save the art at various steps to try different things and go back to a simpler version more easily).
Point is, the art is mine. But they stole it for their profile pic. How can I report someone using my art for their PROFILE pic, not a deviation post?

Um, I tried to click on "permission issues" to report multiple plagiarized artwork by RWBYpurplecat13 (she stole from other artists), but it just shows some description with some links to journals describing stolen artwork, and they don't let me file a report... Is there something that I have to do?

there should be an option that says "file a DMCA takedown request"
