It was only a matter of time before I had a go at a Gundam! Not my favourite of those crazy mechas, but one with plenty of reference pictures available.Placed firmly in 'work in progress' and unlikely to be finished any time soon, I nonetheless feel that I've got it far enough to show people.
Modelled in Maya, out of them beautiful polygons.

this is the most amazing.. just.. the.. holy shit..
I can't find a good picture of this unit, but are its optics supposed to be sunken in that far? they're definitely deeper than most gundams I'm familiar with. gives its head a thickly armored helmet look..
