Terragen Art for you....Some of you have already seen this one....I am re-posting this because of a special request by kmdigital [link] when we were chatting about plugins for the water...this was to show what can happen if you don't quite get it right...
I had a great number of comments from you last time, which prompted me to do a 2nd version which is already here at [link]

Yeah, I know all about the water effects not going quite to plan. I have to reset the surf plugin, because it doesn't save the settings in the world file Which means that I have to set them up, render at least 640x480, and jot down the settings I used if it looks good - it just takes too much damned time

wow another beautiful piece! the look where the light is starting to hit the water ... and the way the waves are around that area kinda looks like there should be a helicopter or somethin there hehe, looks neat... anyway awesome work

Wow! I've never seen Terragen art this good! Throw a little noise or photo grain and it could almost fool you into thinking it was a photo (and I think it would look even better). Amazing stuff!

clouds are good. having the high mountains on the right so there is shadow looking out into lightness is great. the highlights on the dirt seem too orangey. soft rays of light are really nice though. wtf is with the water tho? waves are good but eh?

Whoa, real nice work - Love the surf its really cool Nice effect with the shoreline surface map, looks just like real beach
Also the higher jungle-like terrain is a nice addition to this render, reminds me of the tidal-lagoon in The Beach.
Wonderful lighting also, the sunrays look good (as usual) and also the low-red in the background is great
