Description
This is a re-render of a very popular piece of work of mine, the original piece stands at a wozzing 15 favs, that is good by my standards..What I am attempting to do with this is work out from your reactions whether or not to submit this to the da print shop - That is the poster part of DA .. Question is would anyone buy this on a huge poster?? This is obviously a reduced file - the original of this one is 6000x4000 res 200dpi and a 112 meg psd file - not converted that to jpg yet..
Let me know what you think... favs are welcome on this too if you feel it deserves one

I won't buy it right aaway, as I just spent quite a lot on prints recently, but I WILL buy it

lostsoul029: You say you like it but you have no real constructive critisism ?? This has been displayed on other sites with the same reaction as here, it is not just a simple piece of terragen work.
Terragen users on this site get a huge amount of assistance - and after seeing your gallery, I will give you help if you ask, because yours is basic terragen. And this is not a forum, this is a deviation.

Am I the only who thinks this looks like simple terragen work? I mean, it's good and everything, but this has received a huge reaction and I have seen alot of things done in terragen that look better than this to me just go unnoticed her. Sorry for the difference is opinion, but I'm not gonna lie here...

I have tried for ever to get that effect, and i just don't know how on earth you got this right, the best i have achieved was a very feint 'ray of light' effect, never anything as stunning as this. and you must have a kick-ass pc too, to render that large, coz mine really sux even at small resolutions.
Once again... incredible stuff !! When can I get my poster !?? can you render one on my dining room wall for me ?

wow it is simply amazing. I honestly thought it was a photograph when I clicked on this. I have only one sugestion for you. The edge betweent the water and land is very faint and if there would be a way to define it a little more I think it would do nothing but add to this peice. AMAZING WORK

I think it looks amazing, my only criticism is that the ground looks so smooth in the foreground. I feel like if you were that close you would see more detail. I still wish I could do something this good... Excellent work.

it's quite nice. i prefer the thumbtail than the actual art, partly because of the blurred clouds where the beam pierced thru... pretty good still.
